Ingo famously said his sister could KO Brian London, so she could probably KO Mildenberger too.

Well then Ingo's sister could have probably kayoed Ingo because Brian London almost kayoed him in the last round of their match in 1963. Ha Ha.

What makes you think that Mildenberger would have a chance against Johansson?

Can't believe there are people picking Mildenberger. I know Ingo can be a little overrated sometimes, but, come on.

Ingo wins this bout over the German southpaw Karl Mildenberger by a KO 3. Ingo studies Karl for the first two rounds and adjusts to the southpaw stance of Karl, who appears to be keeping Ingo at bay with his right jab, but by the end of round 2, Mildenberger starts to taste grazing Bingo's thrown by Ingo. At the start of the 3rd round, Mildenberger misses with a hard left to Ingo's liver when the Bingo lands straight and hard on Mildenberger's jaw, that sends him flat on his back for the full ten count.

That's right. Forgot about that. I think Ingo said it when London was fighting Patterson

Reading some of these comments, you’d think Mildenberger was Usyk.

Just in terms of stylistic advantage, it seems to lie with Ingo. He was also the more proven fighter.

Karl "the German Usyk" Mildenberger Can't be the first time you heard that.

Usyk should really be the Ukrainian Mildenberger, but more of a mouthful.

What about Karl Mildenberger vs. Karl Malden?

I suppose I’d have to favor Mildenberger if they fought in a ring with gloves, especially in Germany, but you have to give the edge to Malden if they threw out the rulebook and went at it on the Streets of San Francisco.

Karl Malden, one of the better actors America has produced. You won't get any arguments about that from actors.

As far as I know he was universally respected.

When Marlon Brando rates you (and chooses you to co-star alongside him in the only movie Brando ever directed, a Western called One-Eyed Jacks), you’re good.
