Oh dear lord! Andy Ruiz is reportedly fighting Jarell Miller!

On the undercard of Crawford-Madrimov.

 

That's a lot of flab in one ring. Better get it reinforced.

 

They get to fight in LA for Saudi money. What's not to like?

 

Ruiz shouldn't have too many problems against Miller, who will mostly move around the ring like a punching bag in shorts...

 

Given how long Ruiz has been out of the ring a safe return opponent is wise and Miller will be one of the few fighters who will be even in worse shape than Ruiz and will right there in front of him all fight long. I'm sure Miller will have some success as Ruiz can be easy to hit when you stand and trade with him but in the end Ruiz is simply the better fighter and should overcome some competitive early rounds and either stop Miller late or win a clear decision.

 

miller was out of shape and very bad against dubois but i dont count him out yet. Styles make fights.. Ruiz isnt much of a mover in the ring so its gonna go toe to toe. Miller got a better chin but less power than ruiz. Add to that that miller was actually the more active fighter than ruiz lol

 

Bad look for the sport. Might as well dress them up in loin cloths and draw up a circle.

 

I hope they do "the gloves are off" prefight face to face interview with Miller and Ruiz at an all you can eat buffet with the interviewer being Dustin Nichols. It would be riveting television for the marathon 7 hour eating and talking smack session until someone goes into cardiac arrest.

 

This is actually a good fight for both men, and it'll be an entertaining slugfest.

 

They're not holding it in a boxing ring. They're holding it on one of these.

So you evaluate a boxing match solely by what the fighters are making?

 

Plainly l am evaluating the match up in that particular post from their perspective. Read it again. Hint : The key word is 'they.'

My take on the fight is why not? Ruiz badly needs a fight and l hope he knocks the drug cheat Miller out cold.
