Canelo keeps talking about the fact that in this stage of his career, he only goes for the money fights...
Surely fighting Benavidez would make more money than fighting Mungia???
    Benavidez is a bigger name...

Benavidez was never seriously considered as an option. He would stop Canelo.

    No question.

Not sure if this is a serious question or just a cry for attention. Everyone knows why he has chosen to fight EVERYONE but Benavidez. It's not even a talking point anymore. It's more of a......"yea, whatever, so what's next".......

.....Stop Canelo.........I'm not sure on all of that. Benavidez has power, but let's not act like Canelo is some push over and isn't defensively sound. He also has power himself.

I'm a firm believer he should be fighting Canelo, but it seems like a lot of y'all on this site are Man Fans more than Boxing Fans. Like Canelo has never been tested. Like he didn't go 24 rounds with a prime GGG. Like he didn't go 12 rounds with Bivol. Like doesn't have the IQ to be able to keep himself out of danger. He's never received an 8 count his entire professional career....... But it's "no question" that Benavidez is going to stop him......

Who exactly has Benavidez stopped that's similar to Canelo that makes your statement..."no question."?

Canelo is the Cash Cow of the sport. Regardless of who he fights, it's a money fight. Money will never be a reason for him to (or not to) fight some one at this point.

He´s a diva. Hear me out!

I genuinely believe Benavidez and his team, with their antics and non stop verbal attacks, literally talked themselves out of this fight.
People have hampered for years about how Canelo is a diva. Well, he is. He didn´t initially want to fight Lara either because Lara talked so much ****. We saw this with Boo-Boo too. Canelo was furious when Andrade crashed that post fight press conference. Canelo even said something like: "Andrade will never get a fight because of this".

Everyone thinks that confronting boxers, talking **** and going as far as to tell blatant lies is the way to entice the more popular boxer into a fight. Well, it doesn´t always work. Just ask Amir Khan. The idiot even lied about contracts with Floyd being signed so that he could force Floyd to finally take the fight. Khan later admitted to this. An absolute moron.

There is a simple explanation why he is fighting Mungia,he is seen as less of a risk than Benavidez, however Canelo’s fans will fully expect him to fight Benavidez in the not too distant future despite what Canelo obviously thinks !

Cant you hear him Quacking lol the self proclaimed King of Boxing ROFLMAO He's ducking Benavidez, Bivol rematch, & just the mention of the name Beterbiev scares the bejabbers out of King Ginger . He thought Bivol was an easy touch but found out he wasn't when Dmitry beat him like he'd stole something which took his soul
He obviously thinks Jaime Munguia would be easy money too I hope Canelo gets the same beating & embarrassment from Jaime because that's what the Quacker deserves !!!!!!!! WAR MUNGUIA !!!!!!!! STOP THAT DUCK FROM QUACKING!!!!!!!

Sorry my friend you over rate the Ginger Duck. He ducks the best fighters because he knows he just cannot live with them even when he has his friendly judges & a commission that looks after him like a Mother hen
Dmitry Bivol proved that even the protection he got could stop the superior boxer Dmitry Bivol from beating Canelo's butt & taking his soul

Canelo knows full well that he never "legitimately" beat GGG in either fight . His "help" from Vegas officials & the commission looking the other way got him those decision & a few more. Even with their " help" Canelo just wasn't good enough to stop the spanking he got from Bivol. Dmitry took his soul & gave him just what he deserved
