What the **** did they call them for? I doubt they'll riot over a hometown robbery. No one SHOULD EVER fight in Africa, especially guys with poor KO ratios.
@IntentionalButt I think you might want to give this one a watch, it was a solid match, and I think you'll like the style of DeKang Wang, who just got royally ****ed over.
I like how they read out the branding that's on a guy's shorts. I wonder is it possible we'll see something similar here soon at the influencer fights. Fillipus:1,5,10. Wang:2,3,4,6,7,8,9,11,12. I have an identical card to you @CST80 but I saw a lot of swing rounds - 2,3,8,11 were close enough that you could reasonably give them to Fillipus IMO - so if you give Fillipus everything close, which of course they did, you have a card in his favour. Wang overall deserved the win though, and the real shame of it is that might have lead to a rematch which would have been great because this fight was awesome. Fillipus had the terrible plan of dominating early with aggression and those big, stupid uppercuts from outside the apparent key punch. Miss, miss, miss, loads of missing in this fight, and loads of landing on gloves. So the story of the rounds seemed to be Fillipus doing well in the first half on the aggression before ceding the round in the second half to a calmer, more technically proficient Wang (in the shots favoured, anyway). What most frustrated me on behalf of Fillipus though was that he made the eleventh close by the defensive use of his jab. If he'd just jabbed more and jabbed early he maybe could have won this for real. The plan was awful though.
I really like the music they played between rounds and that. It's so embarrassing the music between rounds thing. At least this was cheerful.
