Don’t be shocked if Madrimov gives Crawford a tough fight

I find the Ennis fight more intriguing because it's a young lion vs on old lion type match up. At this time Ennis is held in much higher regard than Charlo. But hey, no reason Crawford can't fight both men.

Oh, I would love to see him fight both as well. I just don't hold Ennis as a priority over anyone.... I like the "young lion vs old lion" theme. It's the cliche for the sport throughout history... Passing the torch. I just hate when people try to make it seem like Crawford "owes" Boots a shot when he's done nothing to deserve that shot. There's a big difference between fans WANTING a fight to happen and fighters DESERVING a fight.

Not sure I agree with Ennis being held at a much higher regard than Charlo. The numbers and money associated with each fighter's bouts don't support that theory. You talking about a fighter who's fought and became UNDISPUTED. Been tested both in his division and 2 divisions above, being compared to an individual who's never fought a single opponent who will EVER compete, let alone win a world title at 147.

Anyone that holds Ennis as a higher regard than Charlo currently is more invested in being a fan of the man than the sport. At some point we have to respect the process and stop looking to crown the new toys just because they come in shiny.

I think Charlo's luster has tarnished since the Canelo fight. It would be interesting to take a pole and see who people would rather see Crawford fight. But you are right, Charlo is the more accomplished fighter when compared to Ennis. Can't argue that point.

I'd be more shocked if he didnt give him a tough fight.

Naturally much bigger and stronger, which an exceptional amateur background.

If Crawford beat him easily, he really does have to be talked about open ATG lists.

Well, clearly his performance vs Canelo hurt his brand of what he promoted himself to be, but most smart fans knew, that wasn't a fight he was trying to win or even expected to win. He and his brother had been barking about Canelo/GGG for years for the sake of popularity and a paycheck. The media, new media, and social media just aided to the energy and we actually got the fight out of nowhere. It pretty much went down exactly how, myself personally, and a few others I associate with regularly, predicted it would go. He actually just helped Canelo's legacy by jumping into that ring with no real gameplan or strategy.

Again, I would love to see Crawford vs Ennis as well. I don't think at this point it would be as competitive as most think being that I've seen both fighters spar and compete for years pro and amateur. But I would love to see the fight happen. Hell, I've even said that if it did happen, I would love for Crawford to have the fight in Lincoln, NE instead of Omaha. Don't know if you have ever been in or seen Memorial Stadium, but that place is a historic spot for sports entertainment, mainly Nebraska football. It's been years since I've been to the stadium, and even longer since Nebraska Football has been elite, but that state LOVES them some Terence Crawford. He's the definition of the People's Champ. They had a volleyball game at memorial stadium last year that brought in over 90K fans......Volleyball.....imagine if Crawford brought a world title fight there vs another higher demanded name.

He rubs elbows with Warren Buffet and Tom Osbourne.......they could make it happen.

That would be impressive if Crawford sold out a 90k stadium in the US.

Madrimov is a very good fighter who couldn give anyone problems when they’re having their first fight at the weight.

That said, PBC nuthuggers really need to get over the butthurt of Crawford toying with and annihilating Spence and exposing the PBC welterweight scene for what it is: A bunch of mediocre to good but never great fighters beating on each other.

It would be freaking amazing. Looking at how they are stacking his fight for August 2 of this year, it gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, they can somehow put together a great card similar to this with Crawford facing off vs an opponent demanded by the public.

Yeah that's a joke. If boxing wasn't an absolute clown show with fanboys and casuals, they'd be talking about Crawford as one of the greats. He should be the biggest name in boxing, but boxing is in a weird place right now. Fans have to know what your making for dinner to be happy nowadays.

Madrimov is a good fighter. I look forward to watching this fight, however, saying Crawford is overrated is just ridiculous.

It would be great to see TC finish his career saling out a 90k stadium and ride off into the sunset.

Yet you are DRAWN to conversations about Crawford. Again, you PBC fan boys sound weird. As much hate you throw at Crawford, yet y'all show up to any conversation that mentions him.
