Bud is getting older and Vergil hasn't reached his prime. This fight has all the makings of a great war. I have Crawford winning this by decision but I am not confident at all.

At welter I dunno why I always thought ortiz would take him ....I could be very very wrong but it was just a feeling...guy was a whirlwind at welter on his was up ..at 154...dunno...depends how much both have lost...ortiz through illness and inactivity...and Crawford through age

You make good points. I'm not sure Ortiz has lost anything. At his age I just think his rate of development was slowed down.

I hope not he was my favorite prospect at the time..seemed to have everything to be a world champion and make a legacy ...even had a perfect rival at the same time in boots...who I also thought he would beat....like I said happy to be proven wrong if he fights either Crawford or ennis but I've got faith he's got it in him

I just don't see Bud losing any time soon. He's a real special talent.

If Ortiz lands his famous "elbow hook " on Crawford.....it's ovah!

    Ortiz is finished.

    2 fake first round KOs.

Tim KO Ortiz in 2 or 3 rounds.

Lets see both at 154 against live bodies before doing this

I honestly think 2 first round KOs against non-threats have done Ortiz no favors for me to think about his chances against someone like Crawford. I’d rather wait to see how he looks against Tszyu, who isn’t going to be a walk in the park for Ortiz.

Ortiz is being overhyped. Big deal, he took out a C grader who had won 4 of his last 10 fights, all against trash. Anybody half decent has destroyed that guy so it is not even remotely surprising that Ortiz did too.

He's not favourite to beat Tszyu and he'd be beaten pretty easily by Crawford at this stage too.
