    If Wilder comes out unscathed against Zhang that sounds like another great fight for an already stacked card.

    Lol that ain't happening. That's 2 months between fights and Wilder's getting old for a fighter.

    Edit: for context, 36-year old Kovalev had longer after the Yarde fight when he sold his belt to Canelo back in 2019. i.e. if they make that fight on Aug 3rd, it will be a gimmick to put Anderson over with casual audiences, because Wilder will be there selling his name and not there to win on such short notice.

    This fight would be absolutely rancid viewing if either men's last fight are anything to go by. Anderson has forgotten how to throw any punch other than the jab, while Wilder forget to punch at all in the Parker fight. If Big Baby Anderson is supposedly the future of the HW division, why not throw him in the ring with an actual top 10 HW like Kabayel or Sanchez rather than a washed up "name"?

    I agree though. Unless Wilder blasts Zhang out early, he is not going to be ready.
