Yeah I was hoping Wallin would beat him just like Ruiz, but it doesn't matter to me rn, aj will lose again. It also doesn't matter because Wallin sucks. Go ahead, tell me that Wallin beat the great worn and torn, done nothing at heavyweight Murt Gassiev. He and Ngannou are crap, especially Ngannou.

I gave aj credit for Ngannou win and probably even the Wallin win right after. That doesn't mean the credit will be significant, because they are not good fighters

So in the 18 months after Usyk, AJ took on one guy you thought he'd lose to and one guy you thought he'd just barely beat. That should make him a pretty ballsy operator in your eyes, but...

Grand Scheme that's irrelevant. Wallin and Ngannou aren't good opponents. I really just wanted aj to lose, and lose he will, it's an inevitability. Maybe he beats a young prime contender like Hrgovic yeah I'll give him some credit. In the end though, he'll never be #1, until perhaps Usyk and Fury retire

Erm Joshua was scheduled to fight Whyte until thee failed test, Although admittedly Whyte is still a bit of a punching bag for Joshua but more of a 50-50 for Parker.

Calling it now: "Who has Hrgovic ever beaten? He barely even deserved the decision against 39-year old Zhang with three round stamina and Dubois is even worse, and apart from that Hrgovic has only faced club fighters. He was wildly overrated, just as Joshua will be once again with this win."

    :)

He will always lose to Usyk. He stops fury in the mid rounds though.

Realistically, you wouldn't and you know it.

You'd flip around to looking at Hrgovic and why he's so overhyped and how little he's actually done as a pro... And then conclude that AJ beating him means nothing because he's not that good.

And you wouldn't be totally wrong to point all that out (I've done it plenty), but let's not pretend that we'd give out credit as if the hype was real when it's clearly OTT.

Erm so what does that have to do with the question I answered?

Also Whyte a 50-50 off the back of beating two top 5 opponents in a row? Are you high?

No this is a lie. Hrgovic is overhyped yes, he's still a decent fighter and he's in his prime. Credit to whoever beats him. Surely aj will chose Hrgovic over past it fighters

Why is Whyte a suitable comeback opponent for Parker and yet for Joshua he is apparently fighting sub standard opposition?

I didn't say Whyte was a bad comeback fight for AJ. You did.

And did you miss the part where I said Parker should of been fighting better opposition after Joyce? Same applies to AJ. Difference is Parker has stepped up since then and AJ hasn't. Not sure why you're struggling to understand that.

Not a lie, an honest prediction.

Massively overhyped - decent by the looks of it, but massively overhyped (his only good win is 2-2-1 against top 200 ranked fighters, remember!).

If the rumours are true that he'll target the better performing winner of Dubois/Hrgovic or Wilder/Zhang, then there's a reasonable chance of it happening...
On hype, Hrgovic should be a mismatch for Dubois whilst Wilder/Zhang looks more 50/50 - but anything could happen and I wouldn't even be that shocked if Dubois won.

I was critical of the Whyte fight. Joshua has already beaten him once and Whyte is on a clear decline since the povetkin fight. I just find it strange that you rate Parker above Joshua and also wanted Parker to fight someone like whyte and yet when Joshua signs to fight him it’s deemed not good enough.

As I’ve already said the supposed “rebuilding” of both Joshua and Parker are following similar timeframes. Joshua since then has had the Ngannou “fight” which is basically £30m for nothing, no fighter would turn that down. The people to blame for that fight happening are Tyson fury and the casual audience which created the demand for it.
If Parker had the opportunity he would have done the exact same thing.

Whilst zhang is old and slow Wilder is 47 fights into his career, has two wins in the last 5 years and hasn’t beaten anybody anywhere near as good as Zhang. It’s unlikely he will start now.
