Ellerbe you hater, wilder is a decent chance. Zang will gas and if wilder is still there he has a chance. He moves more (even if it’s like a crab) he still has power. this is a fight I would only bet either fighter by ko. It’s to hard to pick I reckon, but a good fight.

I've got the same pick, Zhāng by KO, but a bit earlier than R8. Thinking around the 5th-6th.

It's a very tricky one, all around.

I'm extremely interested in seeing how this one plays out. I do think both guys are being dismissed too quickly following their respective losses against Parker. To be sure, whoever does win this one will surely get another big opportunity, probably in quick order.

Wilder wins this and we may finally, finally get Joshua-Wilder. But....

just read Wilder-Anderson is being talked about for the upcoming Crawford card.

What's makes this fight more interesting is that both fighters get hit, and both fighters can crack. This fight is an explosion waiting to happen.

I can see knockdowns being traded in this fight for sure.

It was same Wilder displaying the same limitations and weaknesses as he did against Washington, Spzilka and Ortiz. Difference this time, Wilder was fighting a much better boxer and a proven top quality HW (Wilder has never beaten anyone of that quality) in Parker.

I'm gonna be one of the odd men out here and actually pick Wilder. I think Parker just never gave him a target and was on him too tough for him to try so he mentally checked out. Zhang slows clearly in fights and one thing you can't do against Wilder is slow down, you'll get clipped. Wilder despite the claims his chin is horrible actually has shown he can take horrible beatings and still swing and end guys..........I think Wilder can survive the initial rag dolling and still have enough on his right hand to detonate Zhang. I don't think Zhang would survive a right hand from Wilder late in the fight, earlier he might survive a couple, not late.

I agree, it's tricky. I see a case being made for Zhang winning and I agree. Then I see a case for Wilder clipping Zhang for a KO and agree with that as well. Personally I think Zhang will get to Wilder first which is all he needs to do. Am I confident? Absolutely not. Will I bet on this one? I'll wait for fight day odds and see, but I won't bet a lot for sure if any

Tough fight to call. Both are dangerous punchers but with proven weaknesses.
I am leaning towards Zhang by KO however. Wilder, to me, just seems like a guy who doesn't have it anymore... mentally as much as physically. He was so relaxed and chilled out in the build up to the Parker fight ... a bad omen, I thought, for a guy who is normally so emotional. So it wasn't a shock to see him perform so meekly in the ring (though credit to Parker for his game plan). He just seems a different guy, mentally. And physically he's been so inactive.
I think a peak Wilder would have his struggles against Zhang. I can't see this version coming out on top

Zhang will counter Wilder afte Wilder falls off balance throwing his right hand, Zhang will spark him with his left hook around rd5 up till then it will be a cagey fight with neither man throwing much, both fighters have a low work rate on average.

Wilder is tougher than a lot of people give him credit for, but there are so many variables to this fight.

If Zhang wins he'll win early. I could almost see this going to decision.

No, two of the biggest bangers in boxing that can be clipped and Wilder leaves himself wide open to counters, as soon as the big one lands someone will be in trouble.

He was very tough but not any more. He's afraid to get hit now.
