3 more fights. Ennis, Charlo and Tszyu. Great way to end a career.

Madrimov`s quick 1-2 will be dangerous but his defense is awful, so I pick Bud.

i havent watched many of his fights (only some highlights) but what are the chances that madrimov is a sturdier, bigger, more powerful version of shawn porter?

Easier to hit, holds his lead hand very low and only blocks and parries with rear hand, very sloppy.

I’ve watched quite a bit of Madrimov since this fight was announced. I’d be extremely shocked if he gave Crawford any problems at all.

Perhaps vergil ortiz or tszyu fit the criteria better.

Honestly, I don't think he fights Tszyu. I think Virgil Ortiz Jr. handles him pretty well and it pushes him further behind the 8 ball from getting a Crawford fight. Ortiz was Crawford's mandatory for 2 years and avoided the situation at 147, so many of Crawford's fans would probably want to see Ortiz in the ring over Tszyu anyway.

Having seen a handful of Madrimov's fights I think the biggest test for Crawford here will be can he chop away at him or will he figure out this guy is too sturdy and just box him out. Madrimov is sturdy and physically strong, the winging rights aren't gonna land against Crawford, Crawford will definitely outjab him from ortho or southpaw and knowing what we know about Crawford's physical strength I do want to see what he does in clinches.

I see this as being a competitive decision win for Crawford, I don't see him stopping a JMW with a back and shoulders that broad though, not in his first fight at the weight.

Calling Crawford overrated, letting that text even come from your fingertips is downright silly though at this point.

Do you think I`m wrong then? He got nailed time and again by a C grade fighter, look at his lead hand again, it`s held vey low and Bud is a brilliant counter punch and he`s great at countering the jab to the body, a punch Madrimov often throws.

I think the problem with Crawford is the fact that ever fighter he faced was not at their best.

Brook and Khan were both past it.
Porter was on his way out.
    Postol was never special.
    Avaneysean is well....
    Kava is not elite.
    Horn was never elite.
And Spence was either weight-drained or high on something.

Madrimov is a tough fight for anyone in general. Bud's skillset should be a good counter to Madri but the match should be a grind. Madrimov is athletic, skilled and can throw some punches that will really test Bud's chin.

That is a stretch. At 154, I favor Virgil, Ennis (when he moves up), Fundora, and Spence to beat Mardimov.
