Nahh, just because Zurdo beat Goulamirian and won the alphabet shrinket, doesn't elevate him in my eyes. If he beat Opetaia, now that would be something.

All the casuals using the Canelo fight as the yardstick for Bivol are going to be mistaken. Canelo is a weight bully with ped beard, average skills, and well paid judges. Bivol outboxed him because he isn't that good. Beterbiev on the other hand has broken down some high quality opposition in a way Canelo could never dream of. He can outbox and then go back to destruction mode seamlessly. Bivol is going to get his deserved beating.

Comfortly outboxes Beterbiev until he gets caught, slows down and then battered into submission

I swore I'd never buy another fight due to the blatant corruption in the sport BUT I can hardly wait for the classic Beterbiev-Bivol slugfest Its the Classic Boxer Vs The KO Artist I'm not going to miss that. Trouble is the more I think about it the harder it becomes to pick a winner.
Dmitry is a superb boxer but he's got to fight the perfect fight Artur will fight to the bitter end He could be outboxed for 11 rounds & one sledgehammer punch could change the outcome in a heartbeat. Damn I wish the fight was tonight May the best man on the night win I'll be equally happy which ever man it is

Light heavyweight is a very very deep division historically.

The winner being the undefeated, unified 4 belt and undisputed champion is not enough for you to give props?

It would certainly propel them into the Top 10 for me.

Personally I think H2H, Beterbiev is a monster for anyone and IMO a modern great.

Bivol doesn't have the same body of work

Beterbiev has 20 fights,,who's he beat? Yarde? Callum Smith? Bivol is a nice boxer but take him back to the 70's and 80's in the light heavyweight division and he's in trouble. Neither one even begins to have the depth of resume to qualify as an all time great

Think Beterbiev will bust him up and win a bone-crunching UD, but Bivol sees the final bell as Beterbiev is starting to slow down and is unable to fight at the same tempo he was in the past.

In the end, tho, I just don't think Bivol has the firepower to win.

Bro you can only beat who is in front of you.....and Beterbiev has battered the f*** out of everyone put in front of him.

Unless you happen to have a time machine in your garage that we can all borrow so we can see historical fights?

    Who does at LHW then?

The people you put out way in front of Beterbiev, what are their biggest wins? How many Olympians and undefeated champions did they beat and then go onto unify against?

Sometimes you just have to give credit where it's due......
