Hrgovic needs to work his jab relentless he has the tools to beat aj but he doesn't have fast feet which would be the biggest problem
This kind of fight is what professional boxing needs. It would be nice to see where AJ is at the moment, and where Hrgović is at the moment. I think Hrgovic showed an exceptional chin against Zhang.
I'm still not convinced about Hrgovic. His last two performances were mediocre at best. I don't see him beating Joshua. Or Dubois, for that matter. Let's wait and see.
Hrgovic was the big bad boogie man who could not get anybody to fight him,then along came Zhang,Hrgovic is no longer thought of in the same manner. Hrgovic needs to put in a couple of good performances back to back,starting with Dubois then we will see if the Joshua fight happens !
Hrgovic is a fine fighter to be sure but I wouldn't put money on him beating AJ just yet. Joshua has become underrated because of the Ruiz loss and the schooling Usyk gave him. He could very likely be the #2 man in the division if Usyk whips Fury, which is quite possible.
Hrgovic couldn't even crush 50 year old Zhang, and barely scraped a win. Parker beaten him more convincingly. I say Joshua KO's Hrgovic inside of 6 rounds. There's not a single thing about Hrgovic superior to Joshua.
I doubt. Not because I dont belive Hrgovic can win fight like that. More because I dont belive he will get chance vs Joshua quickly. There is talking behind the scene about mega fight Joshua vs Fury. There is many big names from boxing talking how we need confrontation of this 2. I think perfect plan for them is Fury as the winner of full unification vs Anthony Joshua. There is no place imo for Hrgovic vs Joshua right now. Filip is really dangerous fighter and Anthony dont need risk like that right now. I dont talk that for sure Joshua will lose. Nope. Actually because poor carrer of Filip I think Croatian is not ready yet for this biggest names and because of lack of expirience and lot of wasted time he will lose with Joshua who go forward with expirience but its for me fight 60/40. Hrgovic got almost all tools needed to make Joshua remeber his hard fight with Wlad Klitschko. He got same size as Joshua, he is quiet big puncher with good texnical skills + he got hell of a chin. He for sure can fight for win but as I said before he probably dont get his chance now and if I was him I will just start use his time to increase. First beat Dubois in good style (with I belive he do). Later try ask for Parker fight which will be gonna great and difficult test. If Parker dont have time for Hrgovic and got other plans he should check for Agit Kabayel or Joyce. His fight with winner Wilder vs Zhang also will be good move but I read that Wilder is already in plan for 2 fights (Zhang + Anderson) soo. I looking for Filip career start go forward more agresive because he should not waste more of his time for fighting with ppl like DeMori ....
