Shakur is arguably one of the top 10 greatest defensive fighters we have ever seen. He has an elite jab, footwork, and counterpunching, and he has some of the best timing in boxing. Ennis on the other hand has elite power, jab, speed, athleticism, can fight at all ranges, and his finishing ability is second to none. I could also make the arguement that Ennis the best switch-hitter since Hagler. Who would you say is the more skilled fighter?

Thanks for the laugh. The only elite skills shakur has is jumping back everytime and opponent throws a punch. That is not elite defense. He is another hype job like Haney.

Shakur is an elite talent. You have to admit.

Why would I admit something not proven? His performance against Santos was the opposite of elite, was scared to throw a punch. If he had elite countering he would have stood there and showed it.

Shakur is leagues beyond if you factor only defense, but he is nowhere near as well balanced as Boots.

Boots is pretty close to being the perfectly balanced fighter. Those types are very rare.

shakur is more skilled. although, ennis has the power to hurt you at anytime, which changes how a fighter approaches him. also makes him less forgiving of mistakes. but skillswise, judging technique and movement, shakur is better.

Shakur better defensively, Ennis better offensively. All-round skill wise I think Ennis is better.

Shakur is more all around skilled. His jab is much better than ennis and so is his footwork.
