Canelo and Munguia have a combined record of 103-2-2.

When was the last time there was a title bout, or any boxing match for that matter with two combatants with over 100 combined wins? That's pretty rare in this day and age.

Canelo is making his 4th defense of the Super Middleweight Undisputed Championship.

He already set the record with the most successful (4-belt) Undisputed Defenses in his last win with 3. He looks to extend the history making streak to 4 with a win against Jaime Munguia.

Combing the two metrics, when was the last time that an Undisputed Championship was defended in a match consisting of combatants combining for over 100 wins between them?

These stats remind us that we are witnessing history yet again. For a 4-belt Undisputed to be defended in a match with over 100 combined wins between the two opponents. This really needs to be brought to the forefront as we prepare for this weekend.

In addition to all that, both fighters are in their prime, motivated and are at or near the top of their game. This Matchup has a lot going for it when you consider the historical implications involved and how accomplished both combatants are. This is a gift to the fans and I think we should embrace the moment and for once, allow ourselves to be swept away with the spectacle of this spectacular Main Event.

Yes good point. In addition to all the historical context, Canelo is the leading role model for clean athletes in sport.

In the sense that he set the example for what you shouldn't do if you want to stay clean.

You missed the point of the video. What he said speaks directly to his critics, like yourself, who theorize corrupt judging. He said "without talent you can't do this". You can't do what he did in those highlights without talent, generational talent.

Mung's record is more padded than a flat-chested hooker's bra and he's fought like a whopping 2 world champions or something in those 43 fights. His resume makes The Dosser's look like SRR's

It is a fight no one wanted. It’s not a bad fight by any means but everyone knows the score here.

Not all wins are the same. Jaime's record is heavily padded with Cans. Whos the best guy hes beaten? John Ryder?

Hes talented but theres levels to this.
