It's certainly not out of the realm of possible w/ Garcia NOT on a banned PED. He took them for a clear reason. And went from looking like crap versus Tank to superman vs Haney.

 

Rehydrating 25 pounds in the span of a day is also pretty weird without IVs

 

I have no stake in Haney and actually liked that Garcia defied the odds and put on that performance when he looked like a burn out pre fight. But you of course want to see fighters do it cleanly, and the comparisons were already weird with Haney actually going through the rigours of making weight with Garcia not doing that, despite perhaps even having less to shed. And doing "but weight bully" even now is just...

 

If he used them I wouldn't be shocked just like I wouldn't be shocked if he also was on some PEDs, but we have to make a difference between actually being proven to have done something wrong and not having been so.

 

As there is a distinction between following the rules and not following them and also cheating.

I think they're all juiced to the gills. Every fighter claims they're innocent until they pop.

 

Why would one need an IV for that?

 

And my opinion is that most fighters are clean, or else more would be getting busted.
My opinion is also that we should be handing out stricter bans for drug cheating.
