She wanted the 3rd Taylor fight but not for the agreed purse in her contract. The purse she wanted was only available in a stadium in Ireland. She wanted the fight in Manchester Arena which wouldn’t have sold out like she seems to think as she’s not the draw she thinks she is. She messed about so much that n the meantime the draw KT got offered mega money for a Serrano fight and she losses out.

yet again threw a hissy fit for the however many times she’s done it and then after Matchroom attempted to make the Ryan fight she asked for and was granted her release. She’s not a big enough draw to warrant the hassle. All the big fights for her were with Matchroom but she wanted to cut her nose off to spurs her face.

Eddie Hearn did say that Matchroom would no longer allow fighters to dodge fights but still get paid good money to fight lesser opponents.

 

The PC love in with women's sports I think does make for a lack of realism.

Yes women's boxing is growing, but I can honestly say I couldn't give a **** if I ever saw her fights again, and I think a large portion of fans would be in the same camp.

That’s not really accurate. Obviously the C Dubois comment is just an error as I’m sure you know she’s with Boxxer. QP have started getting behind the women’s game with Raven Chapman, who they would like to fight Skye Nicholson at some point when she’s back from injury. They have also been putting her on commentary gigs to help Build her profile. They also have 3 other female fighters signed up, although Hannah Rankin lost again the other night on a Boxnation card, so she is probably finished now.

If she does sign with QP, after the usual intro fight, I wouldn’t be surprised if they looked to do the Ryan fight with MR on a 5v5 or something.

She’s out injured and therefore had to come off one of the recent cards a few months ago. Other than that she has been fighting regularly.

 

Cameron on Talksport this afternoon stating Taylor ducked her for an easier fight against Tip Tap Tip Serrano.
