He was doing very well against Williams until he tore up his knee and the Mcbride version would annihilate Paul but yeah a near 60 year old Mike shouldn’t be taking more head trauma.

It may happen, but life went on like nothing happend with Holyfield. If it happens Tyson will just be humbled and will get over it.

19 years between sanctioned pro fights has to be some sort of a record.

Henry Maske taking 11 years between bouts with Virgil Hill seemed insane at the time.

I wonder how Tyson will be sparring for this fight. I mean he's actually training for an 8 round bout, even though it's only 2 minute rounds.
If I remember correctly, most of Jake Pauls fights have been 2 minute rounds anyway.
I don't see Tyson getting stopped, I see it where Jake Paul either gets stopped, or nearly gets stopped towards the end of the later rounds.
The 2 minute rounds means it will be harder for Tyson to get him out of there, but I think thats what he will aim to do.
Tyson to try and land a big shot, while Jake Paul hits, holds, tries to tangle him up. Jake paul trying to keep it at range with Mike Tyson attempting some of his legendary head movement to get inside. Mid- range, close-range favours Mike.

I mean Jake Paul would get beaten by a lot of amateur boxers out there, but he is not completely hopeless. He went rounds with Tom Fury and that shows the level he is at. He's not fooling anyone, he is what he is.
Tyson's last 'fight' was an exhibition against RJJ. Tyson looked actually okay, and he moved well. I think he took it easy on RJ and that was only 3 years ago. He looked like he was holding back, and I think he has it in him to get a knockout.

I would like to hope so but Tyson and Paul are a lot more high profile and famous than Holyfield and Belfort. You can bet your bottom dollar if Paul wins he'll let us know about it all the time.

I've taken way worse ass whoopings from people in their 60s than I have from ones in their late 40s, including from chicks

Hopefully this is called off on medical grounds; a 57 year old has no business in a boxing ring.

Before I begin, whatever I'm about to say doesn't change the fact that this is the most stupid match up ever for jake paul, if he wins its against and old weed smoker and if he loses then he has lost to a 58 year old who hasn't boxed in 20 odd years.

Jake paul and his t3am always have ways of getting the best of what they can.
Mike tyson for 3 or 4 minutes has a chance as paul didn't even wanna take a **** clean from a light heavyweight at southern area title level. Tyaon will still knock out big men in the street bo problem but here is the thing, they are boxing with 14 ounce gloves. That is so perfect for paul. Not only is it a disadvantage to the puncher but also more to defend behind for the first two rounds. Jake paul can use lateral movement and get behind those big gloves until tyson can't even walk without being breathless. It's a clever way to go into this fight but who would even want this fight when you are going up against a fighter lots of people know as a legend of the sport and if you do win its because you have beaten a man nearing a pension. Disgusting fight and disgusting he wouldn't even give Mike a punchers chance with smaller gloves

Yep, I'm fine and dandy. I'm made out of the tough stuff

Those losses were lessons, lessons we turn into blessings

JP leads the poll by a scant 25-23 margin vs. a 57 year old who is coming off a pair of stoppage losses nineteen years ago. :sisi1

I want so badly to believe he gets smoked here.
