    Amateur who became pro too late.

    If he was good enough to fight stanionis and make it competitive being 37 yo, then he should have been managed with a bit more of love, imho.

    I had it 8-4, which I think is more realistic although Maestre threw a lot of arm punches, held, and moved away a lot. Judges may have seen that as a negative...?

    I'm a fan of both Stan and Ortiz but people are being really harsh on Stan ignoring the fact he hasn't fought in 2 years and was in with a good fighter. He gassed down the stretch but he won clear enough
