We knew that last night too or to be more precise as soon as the fight was announced

Looks like Canelo still doesn’t seem keen on fighting Benavidez.

I like Canelo and was hoping he'd get the KO, still had it for Munguia. When you've been in the ring and watched a lot you see fights differently. Not bragging at all, it's true.

Coming from a goofy ass lame who sucked a mid fighter like Timmy dry that's funny.

I think Munguia can get better. He has definitely improved. Looks like he's not a knucklehead in training and is able to absorb what he's taught.

Canelo close but clear winner to me but boy Munguia is a dog, never quits. He definitely earned the people's respect.

    Aye.

Canelo still won though. Don’t need to be a fan of his to see that.

I always thought Canelo would beat Benavidez but now I'm not so sure. Canelo has visibly declined IMO; his output has got even worse and he looks slower than he was.

Canelo fought much better fighers than Benavidez like Golovkin, Mayweather, and Billy Joe Saunders

He aint scared of Benavidez. Benavidez needs to get in line.

Kinda surprised to see some people actually scored that for Jaime?

Seemed like relatively easy work for Canelo to me.

Props to Jaime though he fought well, just not quite good enough, but he can hold his head up.

Both guys actually looked better than I expected them to.

Assuming Canelo continues to duck DB, wonder what's really left for him that will move the needle enough to be worth making.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Crawford fight winds up happening actually. That's really the only blockbuster style fight left for Canelo at this point, out of people he'd actually fight.

Anyways, decent fight for modern day boxing. Refreshing to have a decent fight without controversy these days.

Commentators are full of sh*t. They remain silent each time mungia lands, but exaggerate canelo's single punch. Even gave the verdict without official announcement. Commentators are paid influencers

Garbage performance by Canelo. No head movement, no defense slips, terrible snap on his punches. Munguia stood right in front of him and barely threw any shots at him, at a sitting duck. Jaime showed heart, but for someone with 44 fights his skill level is shockingly low. Terrible, terrible performance by Canelo. He won't beat the likes of Bivol, Beterbiev and Benavidez - the deadly three B's based on this.

And why was Canelo so tired? He controlled the tempo, yet was gassed completely. Against Charlo his engine and overall approach was much better then tonight. His last three May fights his gas tank was terrible - Bivol, Ryder and Munguia. I guess the Summer Mexican beef is much better in that time.
