    If Canelo does not fight the biggest threat to his throne this September, then I will have to question his greatness. You don't need Benevidez? You have 2-3 years left in boxing and Benevidez is the top challenger, if he does not fight DB that's a duck. I'm sorry, I'm a big Canelo fan but DB earned his oppurtunity.

    I agree. But I just see Canelo ducking Benavidez, even more so after what we saw tonight.

    Nah, he has to get in line.

    The other Charlo is next. Followed by Bek the Bully, then Belenga.

    There’s nowhere else to go for Canelo but he’ll make a way and not fight David. After tonight’s performance, we all know why to an even greater degree.

    There’s only one person that doesn’t want to see this fight, and unfortunately that happens to be the one person who is preventing this from happening.

    Canelo's greatness is already cemented, a win over Benavidez(who as of now not really accomplished that much) would only be frosting.

    That being said, only acceptable fights for Canelo in Sept is Benavidez or the winner of Bivol/Beterbiev.

    Based on what? Benavidez has a mediocre resume, if he were to quit tomorrow I doubt he would make the HOF.

    Only thing he has going is that people--for good reason-- think Canelo is ducking him.
