    Mungia is a 154 lber.

Munngia was hurt much worse in other fights.

Canelo is an overrated hypejob. Benevidez would seriously stain his legacy if they fight because he would 100% stop that midget.

Benavidez systematically breaks down and then stops Canelo if they ever fight. Agreed.

Canelo was once a 154 fighter himself. Munguia was the bigger man during the whole build up and fight.

Mungia was 185 lbs in the ring when he faced Derevyanchenko. He's a big SMW, not a JMW.

To be frank after seeing that last night I'm now more convinced Canelo beats Benavidez but I still want to see it.

You’re right, the man with the best resume in the sport today is a hypejob. He will get destroyed by Benavidez because Benavidez has fought all the top guys in the division and wiped them out. Man’s about to fight a close to retirement boxer and people want to make him out to be a boogeyman.

Yes, Mungia isn't as strong as Benavidez, but he's faster. Benavidez chance is to wear down Canelo, but I think he'll ship too much punishment to be successful with that.

 If Munguia is a 154 lber then Canelo is a welterweight.

So he carried Munguia to justify a lackluster night of boxing. Good.

And a stretcher will carry Canelo out of the ring if he ever stops ducking Benavidez.

What good is speed if you don't know which punches to throw?

Munguia was a walking windmill and survived. Benavidez will not only prove to be more resistant to Canelo's punches but also has much better punch selection, is more strategic and accurate, has better stamina, is much better defensively, and counters much better.

He is, simply put, a much better fighter than Munguia... which is why Canelo fought Jaime.

    Aren't you paying attention?

Your illogical post just rambled through my logical brain, went through my esophagus and down into my stomach and finally exited my ass as a gigantic smelly fart.

I wouldn't agree that Benavidez is better defensively. He's quite open to being hit. Not a great counter puncher either. His selling point has been to be bigger, stronger, more durable and have a better engine than the opponent. He has overwhelmed his opponents, not outslicked anybody.

I want Canelo to fight Benavidez, but let's not kid ourselves - Benavidez best win is a points victory over Plant. He's getting a lot of hype on a weak resume and much of that is down to Canelo's reluctance to face him.

I don't think he's quite as good as advertised, but hopefully we'll find out.
