Anything boxing related, be it fights, fighters, or just pieces of boxing of history/trivia you think are underrated but enjoy.

Yuh-Demarco 1. Might be the best fight no one outside South Korea ever heard of.

Ray Cattouse-George Feeney Britain´s fight of the year in 1982. Intense slugfest, shame one of them had to lose.

I've just commented on Cuevas-Curry, I really liked the Cuevas-Shields fight. It was on youtube but it's gone now, unfortunately.

Don King and Bob Arum wanted to bring Ali back after he retired when he got the title back against Leon Spinks, so that they would be able to cash off of him by making him face their champions, with Larry Holmes being King's WBC representative and John Tate being Arum's in the WBA. Tate lost the WBA title to Weaver, and Ali proceeded to get a fight with Holmes. Arum thought he could still have his chance, and matched Tate against the Canadian champion Trevor Berbick. Berbick proceeded to send Tate's head crashing down right in front of Arum at ringside, and Don King's obnoxious laughter could be heard in the distance, who then revealed that Berbick belonged to him.

Guess who Ali's last fight was ?

This was Ring Magazine's FOTY in 2006, so it may not qualify as a "hidden" gem, but the Somsak Sithchatchawal-Mayhar Monshipour fight is one that I don't see mentioned very much. Just an incredible, grueling fight that was pretty much non-stop from start to finish.

Not sure it's a hidden gem but I've never heard Dujuan Johnson versus Aaron Pryor mentioned on this board. Great fight

You’re a meanie, Ted! Sitting all alone at night in your media room, knocking back the beers, watching that HD, 1 FPS footage with no one to turn and say “Wow, did you see that!”.

Old story, in so far as I don’t know if it’s actually underrated but Duran vs Cuevas was a nice little barn burner there for a bit.

Cuevas v Harold Weston is a really good fight and Weston shows astonishing durability against one of the two best punchers p4p from that era (the other being Danny Lopez).

The only ones that should feel guilty are the ones that haven't bothered to see it.
