I know it sounds silly after he's just been stopped, but Nery has some chin on him. He ate shots that would've flattened other super bantams.

After being unguarded in the first round, Inoue got fired up and finished Nery in style, which was to be expected...

Who else is left at this weight really? Murodjon... Casimero lol...

126 will really test what his legacy will be as far as ATG with the depth and talent right now

Besides the first round extremely dominant and one sided beat down by Inoue. But at the same time round 1 exposed a lot of flaws from him. I knew Nery had a punchers chance.

Take heed, Canelo: that is how you dispatch a Tijuana brawler. :deal:

The haters will drone on about the knockdown in the first but otherwise a beautiful beatdown from Inoue; I wonder who is next? 126 possibly?

Inoue barely acknowledged Nery there as he came over to congratulate him, this was definitely personal to him after the positive drug tests from Nery when he fought Yamanaka

Inoue showing that even when getting dropped he doesn’t panic and still composes himself. And he still continued to dominate. That’s a mark of a real fighting champion.

While getting dropped in the first round is never ideal, it was probably to Inoue's benefit that it happened then, because he tightened up, and became increasingly locked in as the fight went on. Found routes to the body, straightened the right hand and eventually splattered Nery in highlight reel fashion.
