You know I am a Tank fan and it’s been mooted that Inoue will move up at some stage to face Tank. Simply saying it won’t end well and you know it to. However he is a very good fighter. I like the way he adjusted after the catastrophic first round by using movement , angles and his athletic advantages over Nery another tough guy.

Actually I’m mistaken they get hit the same amount per round. But Inoue throws and lands double the amount of punches per round and has a better +/-

Can't see that this will occur but yeah if you get a chance to see him you should take it.

This was another great showing from Inoue. Only blemish was the first round knockdown but the rounds afterwards was just a dominant performance. Nery was dangerous but his best chance was the early rounds but unfortunately for him the first knockdown wasn’t enough to change the fight completely. Inoue answered another question which was how he would react to getting put down and he passed. This will only improve Inoue’s game even more so.

How was the first KD? Was it a really good shot and was Inoue dazed by it or anything or was it a knock-off-balance type of shot that didnt hurt much?

First KD of his career in his 4th weight class, 5th from the one he started out at, and against a big puncher. Everyone gets hurt or dropped at some point, most in their first division. Unless that is you're one of the handful of freaks whose chins are forged out of titanium.

Why are we talking about Tank? his delusional fans need to let go of this fantasy of Inoue vs Tank

Inoue made the adjustment quiet quickly, got 2 KD's followed by a KO. He should have been more cautious & does have a tendency to leave himself & take risks to get the KO

    Goodman is getting splattered

Definitely not off balance, good solid shot that put Inoue down & which he didn't see coming but Inoue didn't look too hurt

    Finishing sequence breakdown:

    1. Inoue cuts the ring off with his feet and shepherds Nery into the ropes behind a sharp jab and 1-2, and then one more jab to pin him there.
    2. Inoue throws a left hook, essentially pushing a takeable pawn.
    3. Nery turns his right arm horizontal and lifts it to block the hook while simultaneously dipping to rip a looping left on the body.
    4. Nery's body shot never gets a chance to land as Inoue claps him on the cheek with a counter right uppercut on the face.
    5. Nery doesn't have time to even process that first shot, before Inoue winds up another right hand, hybrid uppercut and curveball, that absolutely rakes him, clean as a whistle, and puts him to bed.

    Masterful stuff.
