Tell that to your fellow quite demented Crawford true believers, who bizarrely think he's going to "school" Canelo. I've never once called for that match, that being said... I'd love to see it made.:sisi1

There are. This is why they need to do something about weight bullying, because that reason you're alluding to is supposed to ensure we have fair fights between relatively equal sized fighters. Not that there was any weight bullying in this fight though.

Inoue and Nery looked about the same size as each other to me but I don't know what their weights were. I believe Inoue can win world titles at 126 but, as with Loma at 135, he's going to start running into some very big boys at 130 and even the massive weight bullies at 126 are going to pose him lots of problems, especially if they also have much longer reaches than him. It's not just weight, power, punch resistance of these bigger guys or much bigger guys at the higher weights smaller fighters have to contend against when they move up it's reach too.

Beterbiev maybe, Benavidez doubtful. It took him 6 rounds to TKO glass jawed bum Andrade. Canelo's defense is sound enough to evade most of what's coming at him. Beterbiev on the other hand, will rabbit punch him into a brain bleed.

I am not a Crawford true believer rather I am a boxing man. Crawford is the better more athletically gifted fighter and I am a Canelo and Spence fan as you know. You would want to see it at 168 pounds because you hate Crawford for some reason. I don’t hate him at all even when he beat my guy EJ. I respect boxing!

There is a reason he is delaying or avoiding Benaivides at 168 pounds!

You know my views on alleged weight bullying. I just need guys to make the weight at the weigh in following the rules. This is why Ryan Garcia is being derided now coupled with the failed VADA tests making boxing look bad.

I wouldn’t be concerned dear boy, Tank has no intention of boxing anyone rated highly, let alone undefeated and who can punch.

Starting to believe that unless he takes a truly wild leap of faith up to lightweight or bangs on another near-decade or something, Inoue probably will end up retiring undefeated in three dozen or so contests - all but a handful being for world titles. I think people doubting what a legendary career we're seeing unfold just might be sleeping at the wheel.

You know, those who are constantly calling for Inoue to move up to face Tank makes me wonder why those same people don't want Tank to move up to fight Crawford at 147.

Yes but it defeats the whole purpose of having weight classes in the first place, Olu. They need to find some way to get fighters campaigning in or much closer to their natural weight class. I don't know what the solution is. Bringing back same day weighs, monitoring fighter's weight all year which could be done with an app, but we sure as have to get rid of these 36 hour before the fight weigh ins. If you have two fighters in the ring and one is two or three divisions bigger than the other with a much bigger reach it's just not fair.

You can also have fighters who hit extremely hard for their size and weight whose power is devastating even for much bigger fighters than them, you stick a 2-3 division lighter opponent in with them and it's way more dangerous
