All hail Canelo, slayer of the old and/or handicapped! Ruler of the division with the least p4p talent in all of boxing.

What great opposition has inoue faced? An ancient donaire is his best win ffs. You're high if you think a old donaire Fulton and narvarez are better than the guys canelo beat. Where are the rigos and lomas on Inoue's resume. There's no p4p elite fighters down there for him to face these guys are simply the best fighters in weak divisions nothing more. Not Inoue's fault that there's a lack of talent down there but it is what it is. Canelo is greater and be ranked as such at the end of the day.

Yeah I don’t think he was hurt at all and I’m surprised others see it any other way. Visually the knockdown was pretty dramatic though so I guess there’s that but he didn’t look arsed on the ground just a little embarrassed/shocked

Donaire was old yes but still both times had more left in his tank and was more dangerous than Golovkin in the first two Canelo fights.

Canelos resume is filled with asterisks. Catchweights, crooked judges, shamefull cherrypicking, peds etc.

    Inoue >>>>>>>>>>>>Canelo

In his prime, yeah, I agree with that assessment. We can't be out here saying Canelo fought a prime GGG, though. It's even sillier than claiming PBF fought a green and unready Canelo.

Where are any of these guys inoue fought ranked on any top 10 p4p lists? They're no where to be found. Canelo has fought and beaten top 10 p4p fighters consistently.

Ggg was favored to beat Canelo in their first fight he was expected to stop him. Ggg was a top 5 p4p or higher ranked fighter then. He had way more left than the donaire that inoue fought that's for sure and was still successful after fighting Canelo.

Inoue beat a 36 year old Donaire very handily and arguably should’ve stopped him the first time. Canelo lost clearly to a 36 year old Golovkin twice. For my money Donaire is a greater fighter but GGG may rate higher at 160 than Donaire does at 118
If you put stock in the ring, ESPN etc p4p lists then that’s on you. That’s how casuals measure fighters and wins. Also what is consistent about losing clearly to a 36 year old Golovkin twice and beating a shot Cotto who had no business near a P4p list?

    Successful...against?

    1. V-Mart. Never fought again.
    2. Rolls. 3-3 since, all three victories are trash.
    3. Derevyanchenko. 2-3 since, both the victories are trash.
    4. Szeremeta. 4-1-2 since, all four victories are trash.
    5. Murata. Never fought again.

The point is he didn't lose to ggg twice he's 2-0-1 against him. P4p list are a measuring stick and are used when assessing greatness. There are no great fighters on inoues resume with the exception of donaire period. Canelo's resume is littered with great fighters which is why he will be remembered as great and ranked higher when it's all said and done.

The Pimp is spewing garbage once again. Inoue is so much better than his opponents in all of the weight classes he fought in. He is that good. The fact that many from the lower weight classes are unranked in the Ring or ESPN top ten p4p is meaningless because most of those fighters are not from the USA, and are not promoted due to USA biases, such as those that exist in refs and judging,
