Mayweather was an extremely risky and gutsy fighter not a defensive runner

In his Pretty Boy Floyd era, he was pretty gutsy when he took the fights to his opponents and looked for the KO, he even switched stances a lot in his early career. As soon as he got to 147 though, he began fighting very defensively and changed his style. He rarely took risks in or out of the ring in his Money era.

    Lol at loma more skilled
Floyd beat people much heavier towards the end of his career

    Chico
    Oscar/canelo (he was majorly outweighed)
    Pacquiao
Cotto for lmw title and again outweighed

Floyd was NEVER a great fighter He wasn't blessed with the cojones to FIGHT!!!!!! He just danced & ran . The obviously biased officials made sure he never lost a decision, The state commission made sure he never got officially accused of the many Peds infractions he was accused of either. In other words Floyd was a FRAUD!! wasn't he??

That supposed " brick scandal" with Margarito was almost 20 years ago & yet you, PimpC,
Ellerbe, & especially our A.I. contributor MVC! are STILL trying to push the loaded gloves BS accusation against because you all know Antonio The Tijuana Tornado Margarito was proven to be Mayweather's Daddy ROFLMAO. Not one person involved with the ludicrous claim of Nazim Richardson's that he alone saw "Plaster Blocks" fall from Margaito's wraps claimed to see them. Even the CSAC couldn't provide one iota of proof that there was any plaster found in Margarito's wrap what so ever. so they just snatched away Margarito's boxing license baed on a blatant LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone on this & the many other boxing forums have seen the videos of Mayweathers histrionic outburst when he saw Tony standing smiling before him to politely ask him "why wont you fight me Floyd" ? ROFLMAO I have never seen anyone react or look so terrified as Floyd Joy Sinclair Mayweather jr did stuttering & stammering like Daffy Duck ending up further embarrassing himself when he obviously soiled his underwear in front of the crowd watching.
Now I can perhaps see why some of his fans STILL bring up this embarrassing episode of him losing control when a fellow fighter merely asked him a simple question/ "why wont you fight me Floyd" ??Its because everytime Antonio's name is mentioned they start the same BS They all know that Antonio lives in Floyd's head He basically OWNS Floyd lol The clown that claims to be best boxer EVER showed the boxing world he was terrified he would have to meet !!!!!!!!!!!!! Antonio The Tijuana Tornado Margarito !!!!!!! in the ring & totally lost control in fear in front of the boxing world Youre supposed to be his fans surely he'd like to forget that wouldnt you think but you wont let him

He was quite a small welterweight and his power didn't really suffice at the weight. He had to adapt his style and did so expertly.

Nice video, I feel like he was just so good at what he did we didn't really perceive most of the risk. I know there's no other fighter i can think of that could take his game plans and style and be that successful, definitely a 1 of 1.

I think it was more about his hands being delicate at 147. He just didn't sit on near as many punches as he did at 140. But when he did, he still had enough pop to make guys respect it.

Loma is very likable but when it is all said and done he will be nothing compared to floyd and pac. People need to quit arguin and appreciate both for what they did. Noone around today will come even close. What guys like Canelo, Loma and Crawford have done is great and it doesn’t come close to them.
