Do you see Naoya Inoue moving up to 126 and becoming undisputed?

Yes, I do. After beating Fulton, Inoue also said that he will go up to 126 for his last moving up in weight.

 

Right, Inoue is 5'5 with a 67 inch reach ,Figueroa is 5'8 with a 72 inch reach . As you said , some others have an even greater advantage.

 

As good as Inoue is, he's going to be physically overmatched against men this size to the point his boxing skills and power might not over come it. He won't be undisputed there in my opinion.

 

I wanna see Inoue stay at 122 long enough for Junto to move up and make an all-Japanese super-fight. I am desperate to see that fight so people can finally shut up about Inoue not having any P4P opponents on his ledger. As for 126, the height and reach disadvantage he'd be at against guys like Espinoza, Vargas, and even Ford would be pretty comical. I'd like to see him chase greatness, but I also think there's a good case for him staying great by fighting a weight class more suitable to his dimensions. He started out at 108 and he's not the biggest guy at 122 by any stretch.

 

If he's already starting to taste canvas at lower weights, it's a legitimate question whether he will be able to take the punches of fighters at this weight

 

I would be very surprised and very impressed if Inoue can achieve undisputed at 126. Hes already 33 and at the lower weights speed kills...and speed and age dont work well together. Not to mention Inoue coming from freaking 108 pounds. He's going to be shorter with less reach and an overall smaller frame on an aging body.

Really tough to see Inoue capturing 126 but man would that be impressive
