Am I the only one who thinks Gvozdyk will beat Benavidez?

This will be the biggest upset of 2024.

You are not the only one.
I also think that Gvozdyk has a very real chance to beat Benevitez.

Nope.... I've been shouting it from the rafters on any thread on here involving the match. Also, by no means will it be the biggest upset of 2024, it's the logical choice and Gvozdyk should be the odds on favorite.

Pre Beterbiev yeah I would've said Gvozdyk outright beats David and that it was a foolish move for him to go up and beat him. I know Gvod has had a couple fights under his belt since his return but I'm not sold that he isn't permanently damaged............

Not at world level. His most recent bout was an 8-rounder. It's good that he's getting some rounds in, but he hasn't been tested.

I would pick the Gvodzyk that fought Beterbiev (and was ahead on the cards at the time of the stoppage) without reservation over Benavidez. The Ukrainian hits harder, boxes well, and defeated better opposition.

Even if he's only 85% of that version, Gvodzyk can still outpoint Benavidez, though he may very well get jobbed on the cards.

Bolotniks is better than 3 of Benavidez's last 4 opponents, arguably all 4 because i'm not sure Plant beats him.

I wouldn't be shocked if it happened. Yes Gvozdyk is 37 and coming back from retirement, but Benavidez has never fought at 175 so he too is some what of an unknown quantity for this fight.

He knows Benavidez, he sparred him before and will be ready. But question is - how much does Gvodzyk still got it ?
