Inoue and Tank are both my favorite fighters but Inoue moving up 3 pounds per weight class isn’t the equivalent of a 140 pounder moving to 147.

Even other Inoue nuthuggers would surely admit that.

I dont want Gervonta to move up to 147 i want him to fight the best in his division that means Loma or Shakur after Martin.

I’d love to see the Loma fight. Too early for Shakur. He wouldn’t get credit.

I don't care about him only fighting in Japan just like I didn't care about pbf only fighting in America it's where they get paid the most money. People want guys to move up multiple classes for two reasons. One because they fight in weak divisions with no great fighters. Two they want to see them lose period.

I didn't see anyone saying a word about Crawford going from 147 to 168 to fight canelo why? Because they want to see Crawford lose that's why. Crawford has gone through multiple weight classes starting at 135 and has a better resume than inoue yet people still at 37 wanted him to go from 147 to 168 to fight pound 4 pound elite canelo. It works both ways stop only calling it one way.

With that said I never called for the inoue tank fight I'd rather see tank fight Shakur or loma or teo or Haney before I'd like to see him fight inoue.

According to Arum Loma VS Shakur will be next for both fighters if both win their upcoming fights after that there's absolutely no reason for Gervonta not to fight the winner. It makes sense (unifying) and he would get a ton of credit for it.

What the hell are you talking about first of all I didn't even mention you if you got triggered by my post it's on you not me

Shiiiiiiittttt if you got triggered by that if you had seen @BigBone post that got deleted you would be here screaming that he would have to see you.lmao

As for Crawford I never said he needed to fight Canelo I wanted him to fight that punk ass ***** Charlo but we know that Jermello didn't have the minerals to step in there with Bud.

And it was Crawford not nobody else who started the all talk about fighting Canelo some time ago and now there are some who want him to do it mostly cause they don't like him. Me personally I wouldn't mind seeing it not cause I want to see Bud lose ( that's ridiculous) but cause I think he can beat the ginger that's how highly I think of him but I'm not demanding him to do anything he already proved how great he is as far as I'm concerned.

But I think he should do whatever he wants. I'm OK with him fighting Madrimov next I think it's a good fight

Tank's resume isn't great but he did fight Barrios at 140 a guy who dwarfed him in the ring who now fights 147 and has power. Tank isn't a big guy he's fought guys who are mostly bigger than him. He's now about to fight frank Martin a dangerous fighter and a legit opponent.

I want tank to fight Shakur loma teo Haney as well he will have to fight one if he gets past Martin.

To be fair though, in 2003, Barrera was more highly regarded than Mayweather was. That might sound funny now, but as it was happening in real time Barrera was thought to be possibly the 2nd best fighter in the world regardless of weight class. But that's me showing the pedant in me. I agree jumping 3 weight classes is absurd.

I’d say most want guys to move weight classes is because some here think that is how you be great, title jumping to an easy belt. It’s not always about hate dude.

C’mon Pimp… a LOT of people have said TC is too small to make that jump to 168. Myself included. There’s been several threads just on TC v Canelo already with many posters saying it’s a waste of time.

Why wouldn't he? Shakur is a worldclass p4p fighter. I'd love to see it this year.

Shakur is a two division Champion and one of the biggest talents in boxing if Gervonta were to beat him it would prove he's legit he would also get massive credit for it and a major boost in the pound for pound rankings. Only a fool wouldn't give him credit for it.

I agree Barrios is a good win, but let's not act like Barrios is elite by far. Yes he's NOW fighting at 147 because of his frame, he can go up like that because he's 5'10 or 5'11..... but he's no welterweight. Beating Barrios gets you a "bonus round" at most.... It by far isn't the "final boss" on any video game.....lol.

Tank isn't a big guy? Tank is not a "tall guy". He's definitely a big guy. Big enough to compete at 147 is he chose to. He's no little guy. You can clearly see that when he's in front of his opponents or if you get a chance to meet him in person.

Frank Martin, the jury is still out on him being a "dangerous fighter" and/or "legit opponent".......He's fought no at this point in his career. Talented, but we gotta stop giving these fighters titles they haven't earned in the ring. And Frank himself should be fighting at a bigger weight as well. He fought north of 140 as an amateur many times....Hell, I was at the fight vs Vergil Ortiz Jr in person. Frank looked bigger than Vergil that night. Ortiz is now a jr. middleweight as a pro..... Meanwhile Frank is scheduled to fight at 135lbs.
