Burns was the heavyweight champion years before George Foreman. In January of 1973, a prime, fully prepared Tommy Burns steps out of a time machine to take on Foreman in Kingston, Jamaica. Does Burns burn Foreman?

That fight should be scheduled in the Roman Colosseum in the first century AD because that is about how it would go.

I agree. Foreman would be bludgeoned pretty badly.

Burns would have looked to get out of the fight alive, an then head straight to the bank.

I am sure Burns would not avoid a bout against Foreman, but Tommy would have waited out for top dollar, and would have made sure he was paid in full.

I do feel Mr Foreman would prevail with ease by KO, but Burns would not utter "No Mas", and take first opportunity to get out of the ring, he would take the punches until the coup de grace was delivered.

Foreman is a very heavy favorite here. But on a side note I think Burns is underrated.
