I 100% agree! I think we were mainly waiting to see how much Loma still has left in the tank. Looks like quite a bit. If he could get those Haney and Lopez rematches that would be awesome, but fighting Tank would still be a great fight! Loma should fight tank for a legacy fight and Garcia for a money fight. While Garcia is bigger, I would favor Loma to beat him even at this age and weight.
I think the Garcia fight is 50/50, only because Lomachenko does get hit with fast timed punches and Garcia has that unnatural power. I would favor Loma over Teofimo and Haney.
People don't talk about it ? We have been talk about it, since Loma moved to 130. I think it was 2016 year. Flyod was saying that they don't rush Tank to fight Loma, over and over again. Loma was fought all the champions, all the good, bad and ugly guys. Tank was never a champion at 135, only regular belts and hypejob names like Rolly and so on.
Can’t stand fighters aging other fighters out. Team Tank have avoided this fight for 7 years. Suddenly it’s on the cards.
It's a meh for me. Lomas 36 years old and been wanting this fight for almost half a decade already. It's past its freshness date for me now. Add to that I already know the cards will be filled out before they even step in the ring. I'd rather see Tank fight the guys from his generation like Shakur and Lopez.
If loma fights Davis and it goes to the cards then there will rob him. For loma it's quite a bad situation, every young American he fights they will try to rob him, he has to ko all of them to get a win and at 135 he is really small and not a knockout artist. Imo be sold just fight who ever he wants and don't fight young Americans, because everything is stacked against him
