Loma is P4P number 1 by a considerable distance.

If you watch it again you'll see why almost everyone scores it 7-5 for Teo

Lack of fight judgement = lack of fight IQ

Fight IQ matters when discussing p4p, it's not all about what your skills look like, but how you deploy those skills, via ring generalship.

Lacking fight IQ to the extent that it has cost you wins, isn't a sound defense to make when making a case for #1 p4p.

P4p isn't who has the prettiest skillset, it's whose the best. If someone has the prettiest skills but can't get the W's due to lacking in x,y and z, that matters.

I really don't see the case for Loma being considerably higher than Inoue or Usyk, nor am I convinced he beats Inoue if they were both the same size.

I saw how tentative Lopez's power and explosiveness made Loma in the early rounds.

Anyway, Lomas great... but not nearly as far ahead of the pack as you think, imo.

No. It's crazy. He's clearly not just behind Inoue but also Crawford and Usyk. That he looked great against Kambosos changes nothing. His best win is still Walters or Russell and he lost clearly to Lopez, and whatever you think of the Salido and Haney fights they could go either way. The top 3 have beaten better comp, are unbeaten and don't really have any close calls (Briedis, maybe, but I don't think that was that close). No way Loma belongs there.

I’ve already schooled you on this before. Loma won rounds 2 and 6, rounds most thought Lopez won (I say most, many including Ward and Crawford scored these both to Loma). Loma winning rounds 2 and 6 are key for Loma achieving victory/draw as he won rounds 7-11 = 5 rounds. Winning either 2 or 6 or both = minimum a draw.

I don’t need to go through rounds 2 and 6 again as I’ve done so comprehensively on two occasions and you on both times fails to debate the rounds relying on Lopez punching elbows and shoulders as winning rounds and not clean punching , which is what Loma was doing.

You can pretend all you like, we both know you copped out of the one side debate

You're wasting your time I already had a long debate with this guy about the fight ages ago and it's like talking to a brick wall.

He thought round 12 of the fight was debatable in which Lomachenko was outlanded 50 punches to 19 so that basically tells you everything you need to know.

Lomachenko was out landed in 8 out of the 12 rounds and threw only 88 punches in 7 rounds.

Anyone with a half a braincell without being completely biased knows Lomachenko lost that fight clearly, if he wants to live in a bubble world and believe otherwise just let him.

    Behind Crawford?

Can you tell me who is Crawfords notable impressive wins at welterweight? Is it drained shot and Inactive Spence (who performed worse than shot/drained Brook/Khan - direct evidence Spence was not near 50% let alone 100%)? Or is it part time Porter who for many was winning before his dad decided to throw in the towel for no reason? (Presumably to save Spence Crawford money scam fight)

To add Loma has been fighting opponents bigger than him. Even at 147lbs Crawford looks big

    Yeah, no.

I never gave the 12th round to Loma.

2 and 6 on the other hand were Lomas rounds as I explained when you attempted to debate me. Instead you were giving Lopez rounds for landing shoulder punches/ hitting elbows, whilst receiving clean headshots.

if anyone’s talking to a brick wall it’s me, I gave you direct screenshots and gifs of Loma landing the cleaner blows and you were straight up either ignoring them or downplaying them

What were Andre Wards and Terrence Crawford's scorecards?

I don't think I've ever debated the fight with you. I only ever came across one poster who dispute the result but his arguments were crazy. He was watching the rounds in slow motion and trying to use screen grabs. It was bizarre tbh.

The fight is an easy one to score. Rounds 1-6 and 12 are for Lopez. Rounds 7-11 are for Lomachenko.

Gifs and screenshots do you know how ridiculous you sound ? It's a fight my guy you don't need to obsess over it that much because one of your favourites made a tactical error and lost a decision.

Lomachenko threw the fight away with his pathetic output no fighter in history at Lightweight has thrown 88 punches in 7 rounds and won decision in a championship fight.

And no Lomachenko didn't win round 2 and no he didn't win the fight you don't fight like a sparring partner and win a championship fight.

His win against Spence is miles better than anything Loma has ever done. And he has no losses and no fights you could even make a case that he should have lost. And if he wins a title in a fourth division, he's just left Loma way back in the dust.

Come back if the top 3 all lose their upcoming fights and Loma beats Shakur. Then we can have a conversation. Now it's just silly. Kambosos adds very little. A top 5 p4p fighter should dominate someone of Kambosos quality.

And this is as far I will engage with you. Someone who believes Loma beat Lopez and is rabid pro Loma in every way is just not wort more of my time. Like Ford Fairlane said: "It's like masturbating with a cheese grader. Slightly amusing but mostly painful."

Loma is clearly behind the big 3 of Usyk, Inoue and Crawford.

Had he clearly beaten Lopez and Haney I still don't think we'd be putting him with those 3.

I don't even think there's a solid argument putting him above Beterbiev tbh.

    Very witty.

Again you’re repeating what you were saying before. I was scoring the rounds comprehensively using slow motion and normal speed to verify the impact.

at this point you know what I mean, I suspect you are just trying to gain some “likes” amonng the other clowns here.

They had it 6-6, rounds 2 and 6 they had rightly gave to Loma

Lol again no it’s not. By your logic Loma winning either rounds 2 or 6 equals a draw . He won both of those rounds….

That’s all I need to know to know you’re not worth discussion.

Loma beating prime bigger guys. Crawford beaten shell of himself drained inactive Spence.

Spence performed worse than shot/drained Khan/Brook did against Crawford. Tell me Is this not direct evidence the Spence Crawford fought was not the Spence we expected to see him against

I partly agree with OP in that if Loma stayed at his natural weight nobody was going to beat him. As a come forward fighter he has maybe the best offensive skills I’ve seen. However his loss to Salido is legit (yes a different ref may have Dq’d a very dirty Salido) and his loss to Lopez is legit he was way to hesitant in the first half of that fight because of the size and power disparity. Had he won the 12th round I would have had it a draw but he didn’t. So he has two legit losses. Yes I thought Haney lost 7-5 not the worst robbery ever but a bad decision for sure.
Loma shouldn’t be top p4p because of the legit two losses he has but at same time he deserves incredible props for fighting above is optimal weight and really pursuing all the toughest fights at that weight against men that dwarf him in size. From Campbell, Commey, Teo, Haney etc. to come forward and beat or at least be competitive in this great division while being undersized and old is incredible. Make no mistake 400 amateur fights and double gold medals the best of Loma was never seen in the pro ring.

Watching a fight in slow motion just process that thought for a minute to realize how ridiculous you sound.

That's not how you score fights my guy.
