Davis absolutely will not fight Loma until he's 40yrs old. Just stop the nonsense. Loma is going to fight Shakur next. He's going to box Shakur's ears off and have him on ***** street at least twice. Then Shakur is winning a wide UD
Tank should've fought Loma over a half decade ago, it's only once he looks old and shot that he thinks he fancies his chances. If Tank is so great and is the generational talent so many of his fans think he is, then why he is so afraid of fighting guys who aren't horrifically shot to bits or ridiculously weight-drained? Tank is a fraud and a criminal, he's just another product of the PBC hype-machine and I hope Frank Martin takes him to school (even though I don't like Martin and think he's probably another hype-job). Tank is bad for boxing and he's bad for the LW division.
I see people are ready to discredit Tank already if he blasts Loma out. Don't want to see it since everyone will just make excuses. Apparently 36 year old Floyd is not old, but a 36 year old Loma is. Pretty sure Teofimo was the same Canelo was when he beat Loma and Loma was younger than Floyd.
I certainly won't. Stopping Loma, even an admittedly past peak Loma, would still be a notable achievement. I'm not sure I'd wager on that proposition, however.
Has Tank ever fought someone that has a defense? Genuinely can't remember. Either way... He's never been in the ring with someone on Lomas level and it shouldn't be surprising at all if Lomas able to go the distance. And should it go the distance I already know whose getting all the close rounds.
Don’t be so coy Kirk who do you think will get close rounds and why? What proof and evidence do you have or are this just feelings? Everyone is entitled to their opinions and feelings but they are not the same as hard FACTS. One thing I do know is that Loma has never been in with anyone like Gervonta “Tank” Abdul Wahid Davies that we do know. If you think Teo’s power worried him and Haney’s body shot affected as well as Salido’s toughness and Linares put him down imagine what the infinitely better more complete Tank can do to him. I notice post fight he did not seem to keen on a Tank fight but in fairness he had jus5 finished a contest so I choose to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Meh. Tank has avoided Loma until he's been 36 years old... this fight should have happened years ago. There's a reason Tank didn't fancy the fight earlier and there's a reason he's interested in the fight now that Lomas 36 years old. Obviously Tank is the favorite in the fight, I never implied Tank isn't the favorite or that he won't beat Loma, what I'm saying is the fights pointless because even if Loma does manage to pull the upset and edge out a victory, he will most likely be robbed on the cards, in my opinion. Hence I don't want to see the fight. And if you don't see why someone would think one of the biggest stars in boxing right now, undefeated and in their prime and likely the face of Boxing for the next half decade would get favored on the cards against an aging foreign fighter, I don't know what to tell you lol.
