Referee confirmed for Fury vs Usyk: Mark Nelson

Damn, didn’t realise the ref was THAT guy.

FWIW, Uysk’s camp should be making immediate noises and demands for a fair fight - using the Horn fight as a reference for exactly what shouldn’t be allowed.

At the same time, I don’t want to see Usyk relying solely on the ref to do the right thing while copping any **** from Fury without due reciprocation - fight fire with Olek and by all means, gun for the scar tissue!

 

Usyk got this. He will win 9 rounds fair and square and the judges will give him a split decision.

 

It will come down to how Fury trained for this. Even if they give him MMA gloves and let him hold it won't be enough if he's as out of condition as he was for the Ngannou fight.

 

Usyk is a quick in and out fighter with brilliant footwork, it won't be easy for Fury to get a hold of him. Even notorious hugger Wlad struggled against him in sparring.

 

Wlad ain't Fury. Wlad never threw a body punch in his life and could only grab plodding midgets. Grabbing is literally part of furys culture.

 

I don`t know about that, just hope he works Fury`s body, that will be the key to any success for him.

Wlad also had faster hands than Fury and hit three times harder Also I’d wager that Wlad is physically stronger than Fury.

 

I think Usyk will make sure no controversy happens and goes in to knock Fury out.

 

I said it before, if Fury trys to hold and clinch, Usky needs to head butt the hell out of him. Open up those old cuts.

Is he a referee who allows fighters to fight and doesn’t constantly break them up, that’s the real question

 

The ref should be busy peeling Fury off Usyk cause we know Fury will be using every dirty trick in the book.
