Where do you rank sonny liston?

At one point he was probably 3 to 5, and later 10 to 15.

Just barely outside of the top 10 for me, Usually have him at 11 or 12.

 

As in ranking at heavyweight, or head to head?

He's probably in my top 10 for both.

 

Yes, those are two different things. I rank only on accomplishments, head-to-head is its own thing. I have him in my top 10.

 

Sonny's definitely Top 10 for me.

 

Top 15 for sure but not better than that.

 

If I did that it was based on him P4P. HW I would put around 10th. Maybe a lil better maybe a lil worse.

I think there might be some confusion with the phrasing. Without saying HW some might be inclined to think you mean P4P.

 

Pound for pound. Basically ranking every weight class if all the fighters were the same size. If you don't put anything else people especially on the modern forum might assume you mean that.

Liston or almost any fighter is going to rank much lower P4P then they do in the specific weight class they fought in.
