He’s probably carrying something in his pockets to make it seem like he’s heavier than he really is. Maybe he’s around 225 with rolls of coins.
Usyk probably figures they are fixing to rob him. Just like they nearly did against AJ. So I think his plan is to knock Fury down or even knock him out.
Similar to AJ too, some heavyweights are really not big framed per-se and as heavy boned as you might think. The 'size' is all in the muscle mass A classic naturally big boned/framed heavyweight to me would be Zhang as an example.
Yes. A good example would be Kovalev, who looks like he doesn't have much muscle at all. If you compare him to Yarde at the weigh-in. Both weighed in the same but one looks like a bodybuilder and the other a tradesman. Zhang and Joyce would be two heavy men if you strip the muscle and fat off of them.
Steve Robinson is terrible though. All he has in common with Belly is he's big and British I think 221 is too heavy for Usyk but he can carry that much weight and still be fast enough and fit enough to maintain a high work rate and constant movement for 12 rounds, but even if he's weighing 227-228 here I'm not confident it won't detract from his speed, work rate, gas tank and ability to keep constantly moving for 12 rounds. If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it and if you are going to try and fix it don't do so in the biggest fight of your life
Usyk's arms are thicker, I think he's right around 225-226. Just messing with Fury, which is working, as Fury just posted a vid going off on Usyk's weight. Usyk winning the mind games.
Usyk is definitely looking a little softer than he did against Dubois. He looked perfect at 221 so not sure this extra weight is going to have a positive effect. I'm a little less confident now.
