Of course he does, you don't go 21-0 if you don't.....and then step into the biggest fight of your career and suddenly you don't.

Look at his demeanor, this was all planned.

That’s what I’m thinking. This is one of the most experienced guys in the game we’re taking about here. Even if he doesn’t drop or ko him, Usyk is heavy enough to at least hurt Fury multiple times.

The big weight increase has got me scratching my head a bit too, squire.

Usyks been in training for ages for this so there's gotta be a legit reason for it I think.

He's maybe been doing 15 round spars with ease at the weight.

All will unfold soon enough. In the meantime, keep the faith. ;)

This is Usyk. Not a 3rd grade journeyman.

Massive mistake for Usyk to be coming in this heavy. He's not knocking Fury out, can't believe he did this.

Usyk coming in at 233.5 lbs was indeed very surprising. However, as many have mentioned, his necklace, bracelets, trousers, belt, and whatever he might have carried in his pockets probably added a good 5-6 lbs. He is definitely below 230 lbs, as he didn't look bigger than in his previous heavyweight fights. I wouldn't worry too much about this higher weight. His team is meticulous and has been preparing for this fight for ages. They have a plan with this heavier weight for Usyk, and you can be sure they tested and retested to ensure his movement and stamina are not compromised. I can imagine they kept experimenting to find the highest weight for Usyk that enhances his strength for punching power and wrestling off clinches without compromising his movement. Knowing how obsessed Usyk and his team are with getting everything right in training, it was probably a balancing act to find that sweet spot where he is both at his strongest and fastest.

Well I've just finished scratching my head regarding the large weight increase for Usyk, AND, I'm the first to admit that I DKSAB. However.

    My conclusion then, is

Usyks gonna rag doll Fury all around that ring like he's his daddy, and knock him spark out within 8 rnds

    You heard it here first....

As far as I know, Disney Drago has been a regular sparring partner for Usyk for a good two years now. I think he has his uses—he is tall and heavy. Maybe all he is asked to do is try to lean on Usyk and clinch him as much as he possibly can. I fully trust Usyk and his team to know what they are doing.

Looks like Usyk has done "fat andys". Remember when Andy wore a 30 lbs sombrero and was seen putting a 15 lbs phone in his pocket before his weigh-in against AJ 2. Worked like a charm.

i think he worked on his upper body strength in order to punish fury on the inside. to be able to push him off enough to get punching room. 10 lbs is nothing under these circumstances. hes not trying to make a weight, so he could have had a ton of carbs this morning to burn off during the fight. without the clothes and a good ****, would leave him 1 more **** away from weighing his usual.

Actually, aside from the round, I picked the 9th. I've been saying the same thing since January. So everyone heard it from me first.:D
