    Kovalev giving it his all, landed the far better shots, but gassed out and got dropped at the bell. This was beyond ****ing depressing.

    they asked how much about that is Kovalev shot and safar being good.

    I'd say 100% of Kovalev being shot.

    97-92 Safar is my final, sad end to what was a good round for Kovalev and a better career.

    Kovalev amazingly stayed on his feet through some big artillery all fight but that rally was just too much. Kovalev opened up to fend Safar off and got nailed. Big hear from Kovalev and he jabbed very well and threw well in combination but his shots no longer carry the pop they used to. He is still a solid boxer but he is not going to be doing anything at cruiserweight

    Kovalev is a legend for coming in at 41 and going 10 rounds against a dude who was looking to take his head off. Glad he got up and that there was some excitement at the end. But this is the end of his line.

    Wow! Kovalev getting knocked down in the last 10 seconds of the fight is a sad way to end that career.
