That's was an enjoyable fight and fantastic performance from Cacace. The timing of the stoppage was a bit strange as there were plenty of other moments where Cordina was taking worse punishment and he should have stopped it, but it was coming in any event.

 

If Cordina didn't have them Turkey teeth, he would have been able to move his head quicker!!

 

Cacace is suddenly Irish on boxrec. He was listed as a UK fighter for most of his career, and was even a British champion.

The inactivity is a big problem heading into such a rematch. IMO he should head in like it's round 13. Go guns blazing and put it on Opetaia from the get-go.

 

I knew Cacace was good he did a number on Magnesi who I rate but still i wasn't expecting him to stop Cordina like this. Congrats to him for seizing the opportunity and becoming a World Champion.
