Very bad finishing from Opetaia. That's not how champion should behave

    Based on actual recorded history.

    They were the top 3.

AJ didn't get the fights against the other two.

There's literally nothing to debate here. My point is the best HW wasn't able to face his peers, and he wasnt.

Briedis has an incredible chin; prime Briedis would have washed Opetaia

    1 10-9 Opetaia
    2 10-9 Opetaia
    3 10-9 Opetai a
    4 10-9 Opetaia
    5 10-9 Opetaia
    6 10-9 Opetaia
    7 9-10 Briedis
    8 10-9 Opetaia
    9 10-9 Opetaia
    10 9-10 Briedis
    11 10-9 Opetaia
    12 9-10 Briedis
Final 117-111 Briedis (finally something goes to the cards)

If Briedis didn't have the lay off you would have to think he would have made a fight of this sooner. Not that impressed with Opetaia here

I’m always interested in what the fighters say to each other at the end like that. I could see a “damn that was a good fight man”, but they said more than that.

If this fight went 15 rounds, Briedis would have knocked Jai out. He's a very tough fighter.

Jai 7-5 Breidis came on too late. Good performance for a 39 yer old. Staggered Jai late but couldn't put him away.

Briedis has more fights in him if he wants it. Maybe a heavyweight run?
