If Briedis didn't have the lay off you would have to think he would have made a fight of this sooner. Not that impressed with Opetaia here

I’m always interested in what the fighters say to each other at the end like that. I could see a “damn that was a good fight man”, but they said more than that.

 

If this fight went 15 rounds, Briedis would have knocked Jai out. He's a very tough fighter.

Jai 7-5 Breidis came on too late. Good performance for a 39 yer old. Staggered Jai late but couldn't put him away.

 

Briedis has more fights in him if he wants it. Maybe a heavyweight run?
