Has Usky just demolished the myth of the modern superheavyweight?

I can honestly say, that Usky is as clever as any man his weight, that I have ever seen.

However he doesn't have power, which is the key equalizer against a bigger man.

What we learned tonight, and in the two Joshua fights, is that a clever little man, can beat a slightly less clever big man.

Doesn't have the power? LOL. Fury was there like a drunk sailor and if the round had 10 more seconds he'd be knocked out real good.

Come on man. You've been spelling his name wrong for 10 years.

Then perhaps it was better for him that he was not on with say Joe Louis?

Usyk is a special fighter. Not sure any heavyweight beats him since a prime Tyson. He outboxed a very sharp Fury tonight. Fury ran hin close I’d like to see the rematch. Just epic

I have been following him since the Olympics.

I can only apologize for spelling his name wrong.

The thing which was sharp about Fury is his clinch job. Greedy belly got what he deserved and can finally retire.

Now you are going too far the other way.

Like any fighter, he has stylistic strengths and weaknesses.

    Yes and no.

Usyk is a special talent and a Southpaw we've never quite seen a Heavyweight like him before plus he isn't exactly small weighing 230+ pounds vs Fury.

But yes i do think smaller Heavyweights could beat Super Heavyweights but it depends how small you're talking......for example Marciano wouldn't stand a chance against elite Super Heavyweights with his attributes and style.

Just to be clear. Usky weight 223lbs at the weigh in.

He was no bigger than Louis or Holyfield, plus or minus training choices.

He’s definitely proven that the speed and mobility of smaller heavys are overlooked when assessing fights between smaller and modern heavyweights.

I’m sure I’m being a prisoner of the moment. Yes he could lose for sure. Wlad would be tough match up. Some other guys. But he showed tonight what a special fighter he is. Master boxer with the grit of an ATG champion. He’s no spring chicken to fight the way he did tonight

    His weight was misreported.

His actual weight at the weigh in was 223, which is basically normal for him.
