Hearn just said it was a mismatch for the first 6 rounds and Fury won them all.

Even with that level of bias that’s only 6

That 9th round was a thing of beauty!! I can't wait to see the gifs/memes that get generated from this.

The referee robbed usyk of a KO there by the way. Fury cheerleaders should thank their lucky stars their man crush wasn't stopped

He's 6 foot 9. He could get lucky, have a stray punch land on the button, and turn Usyk's lights out. With the 7 inch reach advantage Usyk had to jump to chin him and I expected him to rush into a pull counter like Pacquiao did against Marquez. Usyk is the better fighter, but don't kid yourself that Fury has no path to victory.

Something is very wrong with the Boxrec algorithm. Before the fight Usyk was #1. After the fight he is #2, behind Joshua, a fighter he beat twice.

People don´t seem to realize that Usyk responds to pressure with pressure. But he also adds a high level of feints and volume, which overwhelms his opponents. So they resort to the easier tactic, which is to counter when Usyk leans in and overextends.
And Usyk won´t just stand there and trade with bigger men. He knows how to fight at his distance and how to smartly apply pressure.
Unlike Roman Gonzales who had no answers to Rungvisais pressure. All he could do was to fight it out.

That´s the difference between pressure fighters and come forward fighters. Smart pressure is more than just moving forwards and letting your hands go.

I would have tried to Wlad him.

Jab + jump + hug (rinse and repeat until the end of times)
At some moment of the fight it looked like fury was going to do it, but he regreted (imho, he made a mistake when he regretted, since this is the right strategy.).

Too much Saudi money left and Usyk is too good atm.

Hell no to the retirement. Beat Fury again and the next fight will be even bigger I think.

I want to see more of him, even at the twilight of his career.
