I remember in a previous interview he stated that he would retire when he would lose in the ring as it would prove he is not good enough.

Why does he want the rematch now?

    Both should retire

Both will look worse in the rematch

    Fury won't. Usyk might.

What else does he have to prove?

I hope so, really tired of his antics. Also his dad contending as worst cornerman/father of the year with Bill Haney

    I think so.

He won't do better against Usyk in a rematch, IMHO - I've never thought he takes the rematch if he lost...
Maybe takes it and strings it out before backing out, just to waste Usyks time, but I don't think he'll get back in the ring with him.

I don't think he risks Joshua either - if he loses that one, it shreds what claims he has left to being the second best of the era...
And even potentially leaves question marks over whether he's even clear of Parker for third.

Retirement not unlikely, IMHO... But he's a headcase, he could easily surprise me.

He may go into a depression when he fully realizes he was defeated by a man he called a middleweight and a rabbit.

    Agree on that.
Usyk is done. Fury has still some fights to do. He is in his true prime. This was the best he ever was.
Everyone knows that, and everyone did say that prior to the fight.

I agree with this and I am not poking fun. He is going to go home, start rolling, and not stop. I don't know that he will be in any shape for a rematch.

Watching many boxing YouTube channels and some fellow boxers claim Fury was over rated all along, because of this one loss everyone is turning on him now

No, he wants a rematch, which could be very interesting. This loss may motivate Fury to train harder and take a rematch more seriously.

I could imagine - and I hope I am wrong - that Fury will fall into a deep hole and suffer from depression again. He never lost and was absolutely convinced that he will win, no matter what. Its a huge setback to Fury s mindset

I thought he seems up for it now ..longer that goes by I think he goes on a downward spiral and parks up at McDonald's for the next 6 months and it won't happen... Shame it's best fury has looked in ages , if only he'd been gracious in defeat

People have been turning on him for the past two years because he is backed by the media narrative and vastly overrated.
