Great fight; competitive, albeit Usyk won pretty clearly.

The tragedy is that we saw in that fight flashes of what Fury could have been.

He was a bag of tricks, feints, disguises, traps, he hurt Usyk at one stage, could counter him, could bully him around the ring at times. But that was all we saw - flashes.

The dude abused his body time and again and now it's let him down finally and decisively.

If Fury had the same devotion and attitude as Usyk then it might have been a different story. A great shame for all the talent the man possesses.

PS. John Fury was telling Tyson he was winning the fight going into the last two rounds, the man is blind and/or ******ed and is the absolute last guy Tyson should want in his corner in the future, should he choose to continue fighting.

John Fury is deluded. Hopefully he winds his neck in now.

Boxing is about narratives. Forget Tyson. I want to see John’s reaction

Fury took the close early rounds 1,2 for granted like he had won them but could score either way. 1 probably to Usyk for the bodywork.

He dominated there onwards and it looked to me like he was going to stop Usyk. Then as Fury got tired he got complacent.

Late fight he couldn't step on the gas and then got badly hurt...but he did win round 12.

Great boxing. Fury finding that form is mad. shame his jab went late also. Elbows are SHOT.

Even if Fury was super fit, Usyk would still have found a second wind. Usyks adjustments were better and Furys lack of concentration, over confidence cost him.

It's said that he got $100M for Usyk fight. That's why he was still happy in post fight interview.

    No tragedy for Fury.

I agree that God chose Fury as the greatest boxer of his time... but his lack of discipline worked against him... if people think... that Fury after retiring years from boxing... after of abusing his body with drugs... after the revelations the lack of hunger for perfectionism and the sacrifice that comes with that has nothing to do with Fury's performance tonight he is deceived... Fury is the most talented but not the more disciplined... worse and learned to accept things as they are... and not complain about what could be... fury if he starts training from tomorrow... he can win the revenge

I disagree completely. Fury fought out of his skin. That’s the best Fury I’ve ever seen. I never thought he’d be able to outbox Usyk at range and he did it for a while in the middle rounds before Usyk switched gears.

He possibly won 5 out of the first 6. That's a pretty long ass flash. Had Fury kept coming forward and not leaned back with his hands down in round 9 and Usyk not capitalized, we might be talking about how Usyk was too old.

Look, Fury got careless and then he got hurt. He was in great form... better than most heavyweights have ever been at his age.

I think this fight elevated Tyson from where his career retrospective was heading, he really rose to the occasion and he showed that he’s a different boxer when he trains seriously. Yeah he’s slowed down this isn’t the guy from 2015 and he abused his body. But at least we know now that when he wanted to be good he truly was. That was a great fight. High level. Not two winded guys just throwing Hail Mary punches. Fury was close, he was on the right path until he got caught

If Fury had the same dedication and attitude as Usyk he would have TKOed Wilder in the first fight so decisively there would not have been any rematches. He would have TKOed the MMA guy in a few rounds and would have beaten up Usyk badly today. He would have had a rematch with Wlad and won even more decisively.

Given where Fury is physically - I also agree that to get into the shape he was in was impressive in itself.

It's a pity Usyk was able to find a second wind and turn the fight around during the end and Fury inspite of his size, height, reach advantage could not find a second wind that he desperately needed in the championship rounds

I honestly don't think Usyk did that much in rounds 11 and 12, which is why I thought the fight could still go either way. It's hard, though, to erase ths optics of a smaller guy beating a bigger man all over the ring, corner to corner, and the big guy never looking fully recovered after the beating.

John Fury is cancer to Tysons career.

A no nothing thicko who's there shouting instructions in the corner when Tyson should be listening to his actual trainer who knows what he's talking about.

    Can't stand that fat ogre.
