By all means investigate the question in detail, but I think you will find that I am right.

If not, the bigger man still lost!

Yeah a 5'10 185 pound 67 inch Marciano is going to be competitive vs 6'5+ 240+ pounds Super Heavyweights.

I think you need to wake up.

    Oh was it ? i didn't know.

Still my original point still stands it's a yes and no answer to your question i think smaller fighters can beat bigger Heavyweights to an extent, but Usyk is also a one off talent and a Southpaw to boot which also has to be taken into consideration.

But other examples are....Byrd vs Vitali, Bowe vs Holyfield 2.

What we seem to be seeing, is that the smaller good man, doesn't necessarily need power, to bet the bigger good man.

Indeed he can be fighting a clever big man, and be at a power deficit, and still prevail.

I think it shows Usyk is special that's he's able to beat bigger fighters. But it also shows that bigger fighters do have an advantage and you need to be very good to be able to bridge that gap idk if every good small heavyweights would be able to do that. There were definitely points that Usyk was struggling with the size difference and not everyone would be able to bridge that gap

I've always thought Fury was a bit overrated though i think Steve Cunningham at 210 pounds showed Fury could be vulnerable to smaller skillful Heavyweights hence that's why i favoured Usyk.

Still a great win for Usyk don't get me wrong but Fury had never fought an elite smaller skillful Heavyweight until now.

The key equaliser isn’t power, it’s landing good punches. Billy Conn hurt Joe Louis it was James Toney who came closest to stopping Mike McCallum.
I do not believe Usyk is a puncher because he hurt Fury for the same reason I don’t believe Emile Griffith is for dropping Dick Tiger.
To quote Juan Belmonte “Let the bull have the strength” great fight though.

So as a delusional fan of the old timers, Fury becomes less of a problem for me now, but Usky is staring down at me with manical eyes!

I think Joe Louis would see through his posturing after a few rounds. Jersey Joe Walcott could keep him thinking because he threw hard and stayed dangeros.
Tyson Fury threw arm punches when he didn’t have room after feinting and fooling at those moments Usyk landed his best punches but isn’t much of a short puncher.
If “The Gypsy King” did such a thing against “The Brown Bomber” I think it’d be over quickly and not long after that I think “Big Red” would stay on top of Fury knowing he wasn’t dangerous on the inside and it wouldn’t be long before it was over.

I have of course been a bit naughty with this.

In fairness I had it pretty close.
