Bowe or Usyk?

Even before tonight I favoured Usyk over Bowe. Bowe didn't really like movers.

 

I think Bowe but then again it's hard to compare eras.

 

Usyk is a massive overachiever while Bowe was the ultimate underachiever. No brainer really.

 

Usyk would outpoint him easily...

 

Which Bowe?

 

Bowe has a better chance against Usyk than Lewis would

 

Prime Bowe? **** that's a tough one to pick. I think Usyk beats unmotivated Bowe from the Golota fights.

 

Bowe likes to fight on the inside with his uppercuts and is bigger but not by much, also he’s slower, has defensive weak points and was down against Holyfield so Usyk would be able to knock him down or finish in the later rounds

 

Prime Bowe was much more Fluid offensively where Lewis was more slow and ponderous and fought at a more deliberate pace where as Bowe tended to get reckless and I think it could help him here. I still think Bowe gets hits too much but style wise I think he could do better in this matchup.

 

Bowe would control the center of the ring with his jab and land vicious uppercuts on the inside. Usyk can be hit more cleanly than Holyfield. If anything, the first half of the fight was too easy for Fury and he allowed his intensity to dip. If that Bowe hurt Usyk in any way... well...

I think that Bowe could stop Usyk... for exactly one night in his life.

 

It's pretty tough to predict how Bowe would do against other great fighters due to the lack of depth on his resume.

 

Look at how much trouble a past it Tony Tubbs gave Bowe problems boxing on the outside using movement and then tell me you would really favour Bowe over Usyk.

Bowe is vastly overrated his whole career is based on winning a slugfest against a 205 pound Evander Holyfield and avoided all the notable punchers of the 90s.
