37.5 years old. 1.90cm height 197cm rreach 220 pounds(223 with jeans, chains, etc, prolly even less than 220) Fury 35 years old 206cm reach 216cm reach 262 pounds 19 months difference in age in favor of Fury. 16cm height advantage 19cm reach advantage 42 pounds weight advantage Usyk is way past his prime. In AJ 1-2 and he was throwing and moving a lot more. 700 punches +. Also Fury had everyone on his side. Turky, Judges, referee, big promoter that set up everything for him to win. And Usyk has done it. Usyk can lose 20 times in a row now, he is the GOAT !!!
Wouldn't have him as the GOAT, but he is certainly the greatest fighter of his generation across all divisions. Had him as an ATG by the time he beat AJ the first time, now he is in the upper echelon. Tonight was a special night.
Let's see ? 335-15 amateur record. Strandzha Cup(it's a big amateur tournament), European World Champion, World Champion, Olympic Champion !!! Undisputed at CW cleaning the hardest CW division there ever was. Beating every single one of his opponent on their backyard, and bar Marco Huck, every single one of them was in their PRIME. Coming late to the HW, struggling with injury. Usyk vs AJ was when Usyk was already 35 years old and out of his prime. AJ was in his absolutely PRIME. Bellew was in his absolutely PRIME. And this was the best Fury has ever looked, which was confirmed by everyone from Fury team and his fans, prior to the fight. And this is 37.5 years old Usyk. And he has done all of that away from home, and every time they are trying to robbing him, scoring fights way closer than they actually are. Not a single controversial WIN, not a single ONE. No one is even close to him. Ali at 36 lost to a f**** Leon Spinks. And have in mind Ali was fighting with similar sizes guys. Usyk is giving everything and 40+ pounds.
I love Usyk and he's definitely the greatest active fighter right now, but he isn't the GOAT - he doesn't have the body of work to compare, he hasn't been in as many legendary fights as e.g. Ali.
Hear me out. AJ fought a way better version of Usyk, and a lot younger as well. When you reach 33-34, every year count big time. AJ fought Usyk, when he was 34 in the first fight, and then 35 in the second. Completely different and fresher fighter. Usyk footwork was a lot faster, and his movement was miles better, and his hand speed and stamina million time better. Look at Dubois fight and this one, how much less punches Usyk is throwing, and he is moving way less, and looks way slower both with his hands and feets. Give me AJ - Fury, and AJ will do a job on Fury in 3 rounds. Usyk needs to retire. He's done it all.
Being a 2 weight undisputed is impressive. But when that second weight class is heavyweight it puts you into a different stratosphere. It’s the uncapped division. The division where you might have to slay a giant. Neither Crawford or Inoue have had to slay a giant. Usyk had to slay 2 of them. Legend.
Ali fight guys his own size, and he was actually taller than most. Usyk is fighting guys 40+ pounds bigger. This is like moving in 5 weight classes, and give huge height, reach and weight advantage. Give this man his props.
Yeah, but Ali had a lot more pro fights and my have had issues with Parkinsons. Let's not forget, we never saw Ali fight in his prime years. He could have done more. That being said, Ali did just fine with the years he had regardless. That's jut my 2 cents. I really can't be mad if someone calls Usyk the GOAT. He is an awesome fighter, no doubt.

Worse, it’s like fighting guys 5 weights above, while having to remain at your weight at the day of weigh in. It’s the Wild West division. Simply an incredible achievement. Truly David vs Goliath.
I knew it, somebody would start the he's the greatest of all time bulls#@t . Happens all the time, he's simply the current best in a weak era. A VERY weak era.
Yeah, but you have to count Usyk wins at Amateurs, and also semi-pro, at WSB, where he dominates every single man, and he was against HW. When did Ali fought giants like Fury and AJ, and essentially gives up 20cm. reach, 17cm. height, and 40 pounds in weight? When did that happen? And all of you forget that this ain't even close to prime Usyk. This is a washed up version of Usyk. Not even close to his best days. Hell he wasn't even in his prime in the first AJ fight. If you going to compare fighter, compare both of them at their prime, or at their respective years. Also Ali has some fights where he clearly lost, but was gifted.
Weak era my ***. This is one of the best HW era of all time. Full with top fighters and talent, and also monsters of size, power, chin, skills, all.
