What's the score if Tyson Fury was meeting Holyfield from the Lewis draw fight?
I's he taking the belts from the big Dosser??

    Agreed. Fury decision.

There is a likelyhood it would be a somewhat dreary bout with Evander unable to catch him. And Evander only throws when opponents are in his wheelhouse and rarely goes off balance. So I just do not picture him getting off many punches and certainly not enough to win the majority of rounds.

The ancient Holyfield outboxed the entire belt fight with Valuev.
Holyfield who is just past his prime (Lewis 1 fight) could box the entire fight with the current Fury, but not win.

Well its hard to tell because we don't know what kind of form Fury is in right now. All we have to judge it on is the Ngannou fight in which Fury looked terrible vs an MMA fighter.

I think we should wait until the Usyk fight to see how much Fury actually has left, to see if the Ngannou fight was due to Fury being in poor shape or if he is actually past it now.

    True!

But at this moment i think Holyfield outboxes him. UD Holyfield like ~116-112.
...Even the slightly past prime Holyfield is still fast, versatile and flexible enough to outland him and steeling some of the closer rounds. I see some shaking counter shots landing flush. + I don't think Fury can KO him...

Going by his form against Ngannou, I would back Holyfield to beat him.

But, as you suggest, let's see what he turns up with this weekend.

Good idea, we'll revisit in the not too distant future!
But going by Fury's last performance, then that Holyfield could maybe pull out a decision.

    @Man_Machine @JohnThomas1

What do we think now gents ?

I think Fury was in good form and fought a very good fight, i do think Usyk was a clear winner 8-4 but i still think Fury performed much better than he did vs Ngannou.

My opinion is that i think Fury outpoints Holyfield of the 1st Lewis fight but i think Holyfield of the 2nd Lewis fight edges Fury.

    Hard to say.

I naturally agree that Fury was a different fighter tonight to the one that showed up against Ngannou, but the key difference between tonight and the Lewis/Holyfield 1 bout is the quality of the Lewis Jab and his power.

To be frank, I'd have to sleep on it. I'm not saying it's impossible, but this latest of Fury's performances doesn't feel like it quite stacked up in terms of the quality of the work that Lewis produced in 1999.

Close fights i reckon. MM mentioning the power factor is on the money too. Fury landed some wicked shots but he isn't Lewis in the power department.

Fury couldn't beat overrated hype job Usyk but Fury is beating Holfyield? Holyfield from the Lewis fights would still stop Fury.
